5-inch Ulefone U007 Released, for Crazy Price USD59.99
Without any pre-launch hyping, Ulefone released a new 5-inch device named Ulefone U007 today with the ultra low presales price of USD59.99, a budget phone claimed to be worth every dollar you pay.
As a 5-inch device, Ulefone U007 is supposed to bring users single-handed experience while the 720P resolution is considered able to offer enough sharpness on a display of this size.
For photography, the U007 is equipped with Sony IMX149 camera in the resolution of 8MP, interpolated to 13MP, while the 5-piece lens kit and F/2.0 big aperture are said to better fulfill the potential of the pixels. And Ulefone says the 2MP front camera, interpolated to 5MP, will offer above-average experiences.
Ulefone U007 packs the quad-core chipset MTK6580A with a clock speed of 1.3GHz which should be sufficient for daily use and according to Ulefone official video, racing games like NFS: Most Wanted runs quite smoothly on the cheap phone.
An obvious bonus point for the U007 is it will come with Android 6.0 pre-installed, since it’s not too expensive to taste the Marshmallow for USD59.99. Besides, Ulefone promises they’ll constantly release updates OTA to improve the software as they do for their flagship and mid-range products.
Ulefone U007 is stuffed in unified body with brushed finishing, but Ulefone has not adopted side-mounted SIM tray on it. Instead, the company allows users to take the cover off for installation of two SIM cards plus one 32GB SD card.
Some software tricks like air gesture, off-screen gesture, and somatosensor are also enabled on Ulefone U007, which also has adopted BOX sound chamber for better music experience.
Apparently, Ulefone U007 is aimed at users who need a phone just enough for daily use. It’s priced low with low specs. Who will buy this phone may only hope that the phone is well built and optimized. Fortunately, Ulefone has done good jobs with their mid-range phones like Paris, Power, and Vienna.
