    If using the Mini M8S II from Gearbest, its best to avoide this firmware as you will have a hard time using USB_Burning_Tool after that (managed to get it working by doing an SD card update at the SAME time as having the burning tool running, it finaly kicked in when the device rebooted)

    Best to use this firmware: update_MINIM8SII_rv109.zip

    You will also need to fix the “black crush problem” or low brightness

    1. Download the archive https://yadi.sk/d/94s27z7L33Uxuf
    Select any video file!
    2. Make the system mount read/write: mount -o rw,remount /system
    3. Rename the video file in the “bootvideo”, the extension does not specify (empty file extension).
    4. Copy to Folder \System\etc\
    5. Fix the ownership and perms if needed of the new “bootvideo” file.
    6. Edit the file: \System\build.prop
    Modifies the parameter to 1
    service.bootvideo = 1

    Hi,

    I used this firmware (hugsun_s905x_rtl8189s9082c_20161123(m8s+)) on the Mini II m8s.
    But I have a problem, do not enter recovery mode.
    possible to solve this problem with amlogic CustomizationTool?
    I would use this firmware, because Unique That works with an app.
    Thanks
