Ulefone will release Ulefone Be Pro 2 around the end of October, a 5.5-inch HD device remade from the company’s old model Be Pro, which was launched at the beginning of this year for USD169.99.

Ulefone’s blog indicated that the design of the Be Pro 2 will remain that of the original Be Pro, while the revision is mainly focused on energy saving. First of all, the OS will be upgraded from Lollipop 5.0 to 5.1, given that Ulefone did upgrade the OS of Be Pro from Kitkat 4.4 earlier this year. And about the chipset of the remade phone, Ulefone says it will be different from Be Pro 1’s and more energy-efficient. We have not got any information about the pricing, but Ulefone promises it will be much lower than retailer’s price for the older Be Pro.

Ulefone decided to remake Be Pro because they believe they had done a great job with Ulefone Paris by the spirit of extreme balance and wanted to improve its old product lines with the philosophy. In addition, the original Be Pro packs the MTK6732 quad-core 64-bit processor, 2GB RAM, 16GB storage, 8MP/5MP cameras, and 2600mAh battery.
