It’s going to be the world’s thinnest mobile phone in history, with staggering thickness of only 4.7mm. It’s not only the world’s thinnest phone, it’s also the world’s very first thermal touch phone, providing whole new touch screen interaction.
Appearance: This phone looks quite unique. The front and back of the phone are covered with glass and the frame is actually metal. And the shape of the phone is different from others, a little bit like the old Moto Droid Razr. The phone also partially looks like some Vertu phones.
IP67: And it features IP67 water-proof, dust-proof and shatter-proof, which allows the phone to stand in one-meter-depth water for 30 minutes. Still more, vkworld Crown features Corning Gorilla Glass 4. But vkworld redesigned some details about it, covering a shatter shield layer on the surface of the glass to further protect the phone.
Screen: The screen of vkworld Crown comes from LG Display. It is an IPS display with OSG full lamination.
Speaker: And vkworld Crown also packs with front-facing speaker which can deliver authentic surround sound and deep bass like HTC phones.
The phone is about to be on market in the middle of July and the price is $79.99. So far that’s all we know about the vkworld Crown V8. The most intriguing thing about this phone is the thermal touch screen and how it works. Still, we are hoping there will be more information about it .
