This firmware makes the box stuck on new MXQ Pro logo. Doesn’t boot into anything.
I managed to flash this successfully, however it is stuck on a ‘set-top box initialization’ screen, i have tried force closing, doesn’t work.
Please release a decent working OS, a custom one if needs be, but more stable. I do not care for ‘airPin’ or any of the pre-installed netflix, kodi etc. I just want a stable OS that supports all video formats, and will work with Dolby HDMI pass-through for Dolby surround sound.
Also, official Kodi does not work too well on these boxes, there is an audio sync issue that seems unfixable, I think this is down to no ability to change audio output source within Kodi, it stays as ‘android, audiotrack’.
I have found the latest SPMC direct from their site runs best, it has better support for the Amlogic chips and more audio settings (audio output can be changed to IEC & RAW passthrough). The audio sync issue is not as pronounced either. It still needs improving a lot though. I have tried every firmware I can find for the MXQ Pro 4k P201. The most stable are below, but are still not very good, please work on the refresh rate in HDMI as I think this could also be the problem, which is obviously a firmware issue.

EDIT: after force reboot (CTRL + ALT + DELETE on keyboard mouse) it worked and finished initializing, however it is same OS, not improved and only thing seems to have changed is Kodi 16.1, but again audio sync issue, so not really any point putting Kodi on there, should have SPMC 16.3 installed!
Please re-work the OS to be more stable and better looking!
