Xiaomi’s smart home ecosystem has a new addition today! The Mi Robot Vacuum SDJQR01RR is a highly intelligent home cleaning device with 12 different sensors. The Laser Distance Sensor (LDS) scans its surroundings 360 degree, 1800 times per second, to map out the interiors of your house. The three processors track its movements in real-time, and the Simultaneous Localization and Mapping (SLAM) algorithm calculates the most efficient route for cleaning. Using the Mi Home app, you can switch on and remotely control the robot, change cleaning modes and set schedules, Additionally, a powerful Nidec brushless DC motor, a main brush with adjustable height and a 5200mAh Li-ion battery for up to 2.5 hours of cleaning, attractive in price and quality, all these make it stand out of the market. Get the Mi Robot Vacuum and dirt will not stand a chance！
Sensors Decide Everything
Xiaomi Mi Robot Vacuum comes with 3 dedicated processors: a quad-core processor from Allwinner, a STMicroelectronics ARM processor, and a Texas Instruments LDS image processor. Like other Mi Ecosystem products, Mi Robot Vacuum pairs and integrates with the Mi Home app. It can be controlled remotely where users can remotely power it on or off, and it also lets you set regular cleaning schedules.
The Mi Robot is rocking three dedicated processors and a total of four CPU cores for real-time mapping and positioning.
This robotic vacuum cleaner uses a Laser Distance Sensor (LDS) which allows it to scan its surroundings 360 degrees, 1800 times per second, and is equipped with a set of Xiaomi-style advancements that allows it to clean your home quickly and efficiently.
Xiaomi Mi Robot Vacuum Plans the Most Optimal Sweeping Path
Usually we start a review with the design of a product, but this is not the case when we can act so, because the Xiaomi Mi Robot Vacuum has more interesting and innovative features besides the design. Of course, it looks amazing, but we’ll have time to talk about it.
This robotic cleaner automatically maps out the area and cleans homes in an extremely “smart and efficient” way, as the manufacturer claims. It uses a Simultaneous Localization and Mapping (SLAM) algorithm to map out how the home is laid out and calculates the best sweeping path.
For smoother cleaning, the Mi Robot Vacuum is using powerful nidec brushless DC motor (which delivers up to 1800Pa air pressure). Also, the main hover brush automatically alters height to create a tight seal with floor for thorough dirt pick-up on uneven surfaces. Moreover, it maintains a centimetre distance from walls for the side brush to effectively clean near walls
Powering the Mi Robot Vacuum is a 5200mAh battery which delivers up to 2.5 hours of cleaning on a single charge. Moreover, it also comes with a smart return feature which brings back Mi Robot Vacuum to its charging dock when the battery is about to die.
