How to unbrick any Amlogic devices. Create an bootable micro SD card in minutes.
The easiest way to solve this, without need of short circuit of the NAND pins, is to use Amlogic BootcardMaker to make a bootable micro SD card with your device stock firmware
A few days ago I tried to update firmware on my Vigica C90T Android TV Box, something went wrong and I bricked it somehow. It dind’t boot up anymore, I could enter the recovery menu from micro SD card with stock firmware on it, but it was impossible to flash the firmware, I got always the same errors, something like:
E:failed to mount /data (Invalid argument)
can’t mount ‘/data’ (Invalid argument)
E:failed to mount /data (Invalid argument)
E:Can’t mount /data/log/recovery_log.txt
The easiest way to solve this, without need of short circuit of the NAND pins, is to use Amlogic BootcardMaker to make a bootable micro SD card with your device stock firmware, in my case I needed Vigica C90T 20150211 FW.
So download Amlogic BootcardMaker, download your device stock firmware, launch the application with administrator rights, select your micro SD card as removable disk to be used, tick ‘To partition and Format’, then Click ‘Open’ and choose u-boot.bin from your device stock firmware package. Now press ‘Make’ button and when it’s done just copy all the firmware files to micro SD card (aml_autoscript, factory_update_param.aml, firmware.zip, recovery.img, u-boot.bin, unlock_autoscript). [Update] You can also download Amlogic Burn_Card_Maker v2.0.2 from here, this tool has more options to use.
Now insert the micro SD card in your Amlogic device and power on. You will be able to enter into recovery and the firmware will be flashed automatically. When the TV BOX reboots, remove the micro SD Card, this step is very important, wait 4-5 minutes and the update will completed. Next, follow the regular procedure and flash back to your stock firmware if this was from another Amlogic device, everything should be back to normal now.

I can’t go any further than the recovery menu, but I have no firmware, I can’t use USB Burning tool because I get the parse image burning fail message.

I inserted the SD card and get to the boot loader, but when it reboots, and I remove the SD Card, all I get is a purple screen.
I also tried holding the reset button whilst powering up. I see the little Android guy and a progress bar saying “Installing”. Then it reboots. I removed the SDCard, but I’m back to the purple screen!

Bootcard Maker worked for me. You just need to find the right firmware. Keep trying. There’s a lot of clones out there using different WiFi chips etc … so it will not work unless you get the right firmware.

it works not for Vigica C100S. it´s run successful with code 01000000 . but after restart it doesn´t boot. I tryed “Amlogic usb burning tool v2.0.6.2build 2
but it stops at 4% because my nand chip H27UCG8T2E is unknown.
is there an other way to flash the nand or to run the image at sd card ?

The u-boot.bin file is in the ota zips u just extract the bootloader.IMG file and rename u-boot.bin

is there any other way of recovery tried bootcardmaker but didnt work tried usb to usb lead it detects it but errors on 2percent i have nothing on screen pin in the jole doesnt do anything just blue light on box itself

Had to try several different combinations of sd cards and readers to get the bootmaker to find my sdcard. eventually I put a micro sd card into a full size card adapter (so now it physically looks like a full size sdcard), then put the adapter into my full size sd card reader (not a multi-card reader, or reader that appears as an external hard disk), finally I had to rename it to SDCARD in windows file manager before the boot maker program would see it. I renamed it to BOOTME when the boot maker did the format option.

2) downoad recovery.img from here https://chinagadgetsreviews.com/?s=Vorke+Z6+plus
3) rename my recovery.img to u-boot.bin
4) start bootcardmaker
5) pick your sdcard drive letter (make sure its the right letter or youll ruin you hard drive partition you use)
6) tick yes to format and partition
7) click open and pick up u-boot.bin
8) press make (press start when the dialog to format comes up)
9) download stock firmware from here https://chinagadgetsreviews.com/?s=Vorke+Z6+plus
10) copy the following to your sdcard you just formatted with bootcardmaker
q201-ota-20180126.zip, factory_update_param.am, recovery.img
u-boot.bin (you renamed to u-boot.bin) / (eject the sd card from windows) remove
11) put the sdcard in your tv box and reastart it; it should install the firmware.
