Minisforum GameMini Ryzen 5 5600X / GIGABYTE Radeon RX 6700 XT Coming Soon
AMD Ryzen 5 5600X/GIGABYTE Radeon RX 6700 XT Coming Soon.
Minisforum is introducing yet another AMD-based mini PC model, but this one is unlike any of the modestly-specced systems we have come to expect from the Chinese OEM. As suggested by its GameMini moniker, the new all-AMD system is aimed at gamers, and is in fact Minisforum’s first true gaming mini PC model that also features an open case design.
It includes a Gigabyte Aorus B550I Pro AX mini-ITX motherboard along with an AMD Ryzen 5 5600X hexa-core CPU able to boost to 4.6 GHz (with a non-stock cooler) plus a newly released AMD Radeon RX 6700 XT that is riser-mounted on the opposite side of the motherboard. The system also features 32 GB of DDR4-3200 RAM from HyperX, 1 TB Kingston KC2500 M.2 SSD storage and a SilverStone SX650-G PSU that can support more powerful CPU and GPU upgrades.
The Aorus motherboard also comes with PCIe 4.0 support, Wi-Fi 6.0 + BT 5.0 + 2.5 GbE NIC, and port selection including 4x USB-A 3.2 Gen 1, 1x USB-A 3.2 Gen 2, 2x USB 2.0, 1x USB-C 3.2 Gen 2, dual HDMI 2.1 + 1x DP 1.4 video outputs and 3x audio jacks connected to the Realtek ALC1220-VB audio codec.
