At the press conference, Gao Lufeng, Chairman and CEO of No. 9 Robot, said: “The global Internet of Things will become the most important development direction in the next decade. The automatic distribution robot network is the most important subnet in the future Internet of Things. We are a smart person. The mobile-capable company, with the genetics and experience of robotics, is also the strongest in product power, cost control, quality control and manufacturing experience for automated distribution robots. This time the new product launch is a time to create AI capacity.”
Among the new products released, one is the intelligent shared scooter T60, which is independently developed and produced to meet the overseas sharing skateboard business. The intelligent sharing scooter T60 does not require the operator to move the delivery point and charging point one by one. It supports manual one-to-many remote scheduling. One person can simultaneously control multiple scooters to walk to a place with a large flow of people and a charging location. Scooter operators do not have to look for cars, carry, charge, and deliver in the city.
The inverted three-wheel structure of the intelligent shared scooter T60 can support its autonomous walking and meet the function of semi-automatic driving. At the same time, it provides two charging schemes of wireless charging and battery replacement. And use the local six-core processor to complete the artificial intelligence calculation, the overall protection capability is IPX5, the maximum load can reach 120kg. The cruising range is 60km. It is understood that the smart sharing scooter T60 will start joint testing with the first batch of partners on September 1, 2019.
The Segway self-driving delivery robot S2 and Segway self-driving outdoor delivery robot X1 are aimed at the current take-out end distribution market.
Among them, S2 is a delivery robot that can handle indoor and outdoor operation, which can meet the intensive distribution needs of different scenes such as office buildings, shopping malls, hotels, and hospitals. It is predicted that the Segway distribution robot S2 can reach 300 units/day in real-time, and in October of this year, it can start trial commercial operation to the first batch of partners, and take the vector production in the first quarter of 2020.
“We hope to provide high-efficiency, high-reliability distribution robots at a price of 10,000 yuan, which really helps the real-time distribution industry to deal with shortages of distribution manpower, high costs, and high turnover rates.” Wang Ye, co-founder and president of the No. 9 robot Introduction.
Another new Segway outdoor distribution robot X1 is an outdoor distribution robot that provides users with floor-to-floor delivery services. It uses path planning algorithms and dynamic obstacle avoidance algorithms, using vision + lidar + inertial navigation. Data fusion technology for precise positioning. Service scenarios include closed parks, industrial parks, urban roads, non-motor vehicle lanes, etc. The Segway Outdoor Distribution Robot X1 will launch trial commercial operations with its first partners in January 2020.
It is reported that in 2018, the No. 9 robot cooperated with the US Mission and jointly released the Segway distribution robot S1, trying to use the robotic capacity to ease the tightness and high cost of the food delivery industry, and the delivery timeliness is insufficient and the experience is not good. The problem. In a year, the S1 generation has been running 5,000+ kilometers.
In addition, the No. 9 robot is currently on the market. In an interview after the press conference, Wang Ye, co-founder and president of No. 9 Robot, also responded to external doubts about low R&D investment. He said that the R&D investment of the No. 9 robot is on-demand, and the absolute value is not low, exceeding the revenue of many small and medium-sized enterprises. However, due to the higher overall revenue of the No. 9 robot, the proportion of R&D investment may not be high, and the future No. 9 robot will continue to invest in research and development.
