Video: How to easily install Windows 10 Pro with all drivers on Pipo X8 Mini PC
This is an easy steps tutorial on how to install Windows 10 Pro latest build 10240 on Pipo X8 Mini PC.
1. First reserve you free copy of Windows 10 from Microsoft and wait for the download to be ready for you. Or you can just simply download the latest Windows 10 Pro x86 build – en_windows_10_pro_10240_x86_dvd – from here. If you have problems, you can use MediaCreationTool for Win10 provided by Microsoft.
2. Copy it on a micro SD card or USB flash, insert it into Pipo X8 Mini PC, mount the image and start install the Windows 10 setup. In my case, I choose a clean install. Finish the setup and finally reboot into Windows 10 Pro.
3. Download Windows 10 Drivers for Pipo X8 Mini PC from here, here or here. For the Pipo X8 Mini PC drivers, please use the provide Doubledriver software to restore them all at once, alternatively you can extract and install them one by one, but it’s more laborious. So just use the provided Double Driver application to simply restore the missing drivers from the collection, just locate the extracted folder.
4. To switch to Android just download and install Insyde_Q2S software. Download Insyde_Q2S from here, here or here.

I had a problem, the avastclear.exe deleted my store folder, from system32, and corrupted meny drivers.
I fixed wifi driver, but nothin else.
My pipo doesn’t detect flashdrives, but my external hardrive works.
How can i reinstall windows 8 to fix my pc first?
the recovery image also is corrupted.

Hi all,
I upgraded from 8.1 to 10 through the normal online update procedure of microsoft. It took time but I have no issues whatsoever, no need for USB drives or manual steps, the drivers were migrated by the update procedure without problems, just as normal pc’s.

To add: note that you will get the HOME version, not PRO. For instance, support for remote desktop connections is missing (search web for other differences).
In my case I could not carry out the upgrade to win 10 unless I chose the option not to keep anything.
Everything works after the driver install downloaded here apart from the little windows button in the bottom centre of screen. On win 8.1 you could press this to return to the desktop even if you were in xbmc. On windows 10 it doesn’t work. Could this be a driver issue?

I’ve installed Windows 10 in my PIPO X8 with the drivers, but the microphone does not work. INTEL SST drivers are not updated for Windows 10, only the speakers work.

But are the 2014 , they have not released for Windows 10 , so in PIPO X8 microphone does not work with Windows 10 .

Thanks. Do you also have a guide for the Pipo X9 for Windows 10? 🙂 I did a clean install, but no drivers to find on the net. None of the Intel HD Graphics of the Intel site do install. So now I have no output to external display, no sound and no touch. 🙂

I installed Windows 10 to my Pipo X8, and tried using the driver packs provided, however there’s no touchscreen and no audio. I can see the Goodix coming up in the Device Manager under HID, but there’s no touchscreen controls in Windows Settings. How do I enable the touchscreen? The audio output also puzzles me. I keep trying to install all the drivers, and they just don’t seem to help. I’m still looking for help on how to fix this?
