Blackview has been always working hard on the mobile phone industry and had made a great improvement on their software and user experience. Here is the good news for numbers of Blackview users: to get Android 8.0 Oreo on your BV8000 Pro and also all the current generation premium handsets will get Andriod 8.0 soon after.
At first glance Android 8.0 Oreo doesn’t look dramatically different from Android 7.0 Nougat, but it actually contains numerous improvements, tweaks and optimisations that combine into creating a much faster, smoother and more polished overall user experience.
So What Do You Get?
– Performance – every update always claims to have “Performance improvements”, but Oreo really does. Boot times on your BV8000 Pro and apps are noticeably faster to open. There is also improved cache management with Oreo automatically deleting cached data from apps if performance is about to slow.
– Notification-Long press a notification, you can see a switch, allows the user to shut down the application of all notice, if scroll left, there will be two switches, one is to set up the application of specific information, another can be set to let the notification of the delay for a period of time.
– Battery Life – another serious improvement: new limits in Oreo increase control over how apps can run in the background and persistent apps are listed in the notification bar so the user is in control. Cutting down on rogue app behaviour makes a noticeable difference to battery life.
– Picture-in-Picture – it allows video apps like YouTube, Google Maps, video in Chrome and – inevitably – to still show video in a pop-out window after closing the app.
– New settings – Oreo has redesigned the settings page making it more streamlined and intuitive. This means better grouped categories and no hamburger menu so everything is easily visible.
– Google Play Protect – to improve Play store app safety, Oreo has a real-time security scanner which monitors for both malicious software and data theft.
– Emoji – in Android 8.0, It looks more cartoon-like and more expressive.
– Pinned Shortcuts – long press an app icon on the desktop then a submenu can be poping up and you can quickly use some of the app’s features.
– Quick Setting – long press the desktop to make a quick personalized setting.
– More features waiting for you to experience. Android 8.0 Oreo is an update which finally brings a high level of polish to Android, makes the operating system noticeably faster, more intuitive and improves battery life.
