The 48MP UMIDIGI S3 Pro Officially Launched with Giveaway! Now on Indiegogo at US$268. UMIDIGI S3 Pro is the first ceramic phone with 48MP Sony IMX586 camera and 5150 mAh big battery.
UMIDIGI, the Chinese brand best known for its enticingly priced smartphones and gadgets, just announced its next S-series flagship phone, the UMIDIGI S3 Pro with giveaway. The S3 Pro is one of the first phones with 48MP Sony IMX586 camera, along with Mi 9 and Honor View 20. Now the S3 Pro is already on Indiegogo at discounted price US$268 and it is expected to open sale on 18th March.
UMIDIGI S3 Pro is one of the world’s first smartphones to get a 48MP Sony IMX586 CMOS sensor to offer superior clarity and detail. While the sensor measures 1/2 inch and uses pixel binning technology to merge four 0.8 micron pixels into one to offer a large 1.6 micron pixels when in low light. There is also a secondary telephoto camera on board to obtain depth information and provide 2x Optical Zoom. Up front, it comes with a 20MP high-resolution selfie camera.
The S3 Pro gets the classy ceramic back with glossy metal frame like the Mi Mix series. And it houses a 5150mAh battery with 18W fast charge support and ships with Android 9 Pie out of the box. Besides, it also offers a 3.5mm headphone jack as well as USB Type-C port.
Powering the UMIDIGI S3 Pro is the AI SoC MediaTek Helio P70 with 6GB LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB internal storage. It also comes with Multi-core & Multi-threaded APU for advanced AI and machine learning computation.
The S3 Pro will carry a 6.3-inch FHD+ waterdrop full screen paired with in-cell LTPS technology. Thanks to the tiny notch and small bezel, it reaches an incredible screen-to-body ratio of 92.7%.
The UMIDIGI S3 Pro is expected to open sale on 18th March. Now the S3 Pro is already on crowdfunding on Indiegogo and if you support the campaign, you can get it at a discounted price only US$268.
