7 reasons you need the MediaTek Helio P65 in your next phone.

MediaTek Helio P65

1. Everywhere Enhancements for Great Gaming
The MediaTek Helio P65 brings a new wave of hardware that mixes big Arm Cortex-A75 cores operating up to 2GHz and a new Arm G52-class GPU. This lifts the bar for mainstream smartphone users and avid mobile gamers. MediaTek’s CorePilot resource control maintains a reliable, consistent performance regardless of how long you’re in-game. Performance is boosted by up to 25% versus competitor alternatives that use older generation cores.

2. 2X Faster AI-Performance
AI performance has been improved 2X compared to the MediaTek Helio P30-series, and offers up to 30% faster performance versus direct competitors in AI-camera tasks such as object recognition (Google Lens), Smart Photo Album, scene detection and segmentation with background removal, and single or dual camera Bokeh shots. MediaTek NeuroPilot provides full compliance with Android Neural Networks API (Android NNAPI), so developers and device makers have the best possible ecosystem for Android enhancements and app development, with support for many common AI frameworks.

3. 48MP Camera
Big cameras are in! Users love detailed pictures and the latest super-sized 48MP, 4-cell cameras provide accordingly. By combining four pixels together the sensor becomes even more sensitive to in low-light conditions, and paired to our enhancing algorithms and AI, night-shots look the best ever.

4. Multitude of in-built accelerators for photography
Building on generations of photographic excellence in MediaTek Helio, the P65 includes a multitude of hardware accelerators to provide dependable performance with excellent results. These include a depth engine that enables professional-grade Depth of Field (Bokeh) effects; Electronic Image Stabilization (EIS) and Rolling Shutter Compensation (RSC) technology, which cleverly mitigate warped (‘jello effect’) video when capturing ultra-fast action (up to 240fps) or panning shots. Meanwhile, a Camera Control Unit (CCU) enables Instant AE for considerably faster focusing exposure adjustment when environmental lighting conditions change suddenly.

5. Secure ISP design
A new, ‘secure ISP’ design means facial recognition actions such as smartphone unlocking or payments not only continue to be ultra-fast and highly reliable but also benefit from a new layer of security.

6. Our Most Accurate Positioning Engine Ever
We’ve created our most accurate GNSS & positioning engine ever. Its upgraded inertial navigation engine compensates when indoors, in underground car parks or driving through tunnels. With the ability to understand its orientation and direction, the P65 can be placed or held in any position – separating orientation from inertial readings when a positioning signal is unavailable.

7. Ultra-low power Voice on Wakeup
For things like AI assistants, the P65 builds in VoW (voice on wakeup) capability that’s power optimized to minimize its battery drain. The P65 also separates the audio channels between voice commands and calls from media and games, allowing for respectively better audio quality as well.
