8500mAH BLUBOO S3’s Appearance Design Draft Revealed

With the development of battery and fast charge technology, phone producers are making phones with bigger and bigger battery capacity. While when the battery becomes larger, the price is to tolerate a thicker and heavier phone. BLUBOO S3, which caught a number of eyes on 2018 MWC, is considered as a big battery phone achieving a relatively perfect balance between power and handle feeling. Now, the BLUBOO company officially reveals more details about this phone.


BLUBOO S3 adopts a 6.0-inch in-cell Sharp screen with 18:9 aspect ratio, features a dimension of 157.8mm*75.5mm, applying well-polished metal as frame. The highlight is the battery, it goes up to 8500mAH, supporting 12V/2A MTK PE 3.0 fast charge. Charging the phone from 0% to 100% only takes 2.5 hours, and once get fully charged, it can last for at least 6 days under moderate usage. More amazingly, the body thickness is controlled by 12mm. Compared with other big battery phones, like Ulefone Power3, it carries 6030mAH battery with the 10mm-thick body, BLUBOO S3 is 20% thicker while raising 40% on battery capacity.

Except for thinner body, another secret BLUBOO S3 used to improve handle feeling is the well-designed curved rear cover and the skip-proof texture on it. Phones with 18:9 aspect ratio is at first easy to hold in one hand, and by making the bezels on rear cover arc-shaped, BLUBOO S3 is even more comfortable in your palm. Otherwise, the skip-proof texture on the back is not only useful but also looks premium and unique.

On the bottom of BLUBOO S3, there is a Type-c 3.0 port, which supports OTG function and data transfer speed raise 100% than Type-c 2.0. More importantly, the reverse charge function support 1A out-put electricity, making BLUBOO S3 a power bank with rather a high efficiency.

The BLUBOO company reveal that the phone will be launch in the next month, and the price will be under 200$. In short, BLUBOO S3 is a phone fits most of your expectation.
