Your Personal Mobile Cinema Theater – Wearing GOOVIS pro is like sitting at the core of a movie theater. It is ideal for watching movies and playing games in any place. You get realistic sensations from bright images and clear sound. At the same time, you feel comfort thanks to the adjustable headband, and your eyes do not tire even if you have fun all day.
When you put on GOOVIS Pro-2021, you like are on the other side of the big screen of IMAX theater: see pure as a tear image with saturated colors and hear a surround sound. In other words, you experience the same visual and auditory sensations, with whom you are familiar in real life. Such an effect appears thanks to 800-inch virtual screen, blue-ray 3D High Resolution, and dense image (1920*1080 pixels on 0,49 inch). Having GOOVIS Pro-2021, you can organize your own cinema at home, because you have the ability to watch a movie from a distance of 20 m, lie on the couch, cook breakfast, do yoga or take a bath.
GOOVIS Pro-2021 is made in such a way that you do not feel fatigued or discomfort from wearing a display on your head. After all, this headset is portable and comfortable. The total weight of the main body is only 200g, as in snowboard goggles. The nosepiece is not very comfortable. And the smell of the headband is specific because this part of the device is made of inorganic material. But it has other advantages: you can easily adjust the headband with elastic straps. It ensures the most comfortable fit.
Fitting and Adjustment
– Pull up the support of the headset gently to vertical position.
– Connect the ends on both sides of the head strap to the support by sliding the ends of the straps in to the slots.
– Adjust the length of the head strap until the strap fits your head circumference so that you can easily put the headset on your head. Adjust the headset to the right height and angle so that you can comfortably watch the display window. You can also adjust the headset itself by tilting it slightly up or down.
– When the headset sits comfortably on your head, rotate the diopter adjustment knobs to the clockwise or counterclockwise to bring the image into sharp focus. Please close your right eye when adjusting your left eye, and vice versa. It is suggested that, when adjusting the vision, you begin from the blurry state until the image is sharpest, without any overlaps or shadows in the field of view. After adjusting for sharpness in each eye separately, open both eyes, and move the knobs towards or away from the center in order to find the correct IPD for your viewing comfort.
– Brightness Adjustment：Seven different levels of brightness available for gradual adjustment.
– Press the Display Mode Switch to select your favorite display mode: Dark Mode, Standard Mode, Clear Mode. The menu will be hidden automatically in 2 seconds after your selection, and the video will be displayed in this mode hereinafter. Dark Mode: Recommended for viewing movies / Standard Mode: Suitable for diversified videos / Clear Mode: Recommended for watching concerts, sports and other television programs for its bright color and sharp contrast.
– The GOOVIS Pro can identify Blu-ray movies and non-Blu-ray movi es automatically according to different input signals. If you are watching a Blu-ray movie, the default 3D/2D mode is Frame Packing. Press the 3D/2D Switch button to cycle between 2D Video and Frame Packing. If you are watching a non-Blu-ray movie, the default 3D/2D mode is 2D Video. Press the 3D/2D Switch button to cycle between 2D Video, Side by Side, and Top and Bottom. Select the proper mode matching the video format you are watching.
Using GOOVIS Pro-2021 Personal 3D Cinema with GOOVIS D3 Portable Media Player
– Connect the Player to the headset with the HDMI cable. To power on the Player, press and hold the Power button on the Player until you see the indicators illuminate, then release the Power button.
– To shut off the Player, press and hold the Power button until you see that the indicator turns off. Press the Power button continuously for 12 seconds can reset the Player system.
– In the “Local Video” mode: Download videos into such storage devices as USB disks, TF cards, or portable hard drives, and then connect such storage devices to the Player; or connect the Player to a computer with a USB cable, and then download videos from the computer to the Player. Then you can watch videos. To download videos from a computer to the Player, you need to install a smart phone management application which supports Android OS in your computer.
– In the on-line mode: Connect the Player to Wi-Fi network to watch videos.
– Connect the Player to a power supply to charge it. The Battery Indicators flash during charging. When the battery is fully charged, the four Battery Indicators will stay solid on. Charge the Player with a 5V/2A adapter when the Player is power off. It is not recommended to charge the Player while it is power on because this may lead to a system crash, or damage the device. If a system crash does take place, reset the Player by pressing and holding the Power button continuously for 12 seconds.
Tips
– Before putting on the headset, make sure that the lenses on the Pro display windows are clean.
– It is very important for you to perform accurate visual adjustment before watching, otherwise you may feel dizzy or uncomfortable.
Performing Initial Vision Adjustment
The GOOVIS Pro accommodates a vision range from +3D hyperopia to -8D myopia, and an IPD (Interpupillary Distance) from 56mm to 72mm, and separate adjustment of each of the left and right eyes. For easy vision adjustment, we suggest that, before putting on the headset, you can initially rotate the vision adjustment knob to a hyperopia/myopia scale that corresponds somewhat to your eye sight.
