Meet CMF by Nothing Buds Pro
CMF Buds Pro delivers an optimal sound experience with 45 dB Hybrid Active Noise Cancellation, Clear Voice Technology for clear calls, and a powerful Dynamic Bass Boost driver. Enjoy up to 11 hours of playback, plus a fully personalised experience in the Nothing X app.
Leveraging six high-definition microphones and powerful software algorithms, CMF Buds Pro offer up to 45 dB of active noise cancellation by capturing and filtering an extensive frequency range of sounds, up to 5000 Hz. This wide frequency range allows for the elimination of a broader spectrum of background noises, ensuring an immersive audio experience even in busy environments. Additionally, an advanced Wind Noise Reduction algorithm, combined with two optimally positioned openings at the top of each earbud for wind to pass through, ensures minimal sound interference caused by wind.
The Buds Pro excels in the sound department, delivering a rich and dynamic audio experience with an expansive range. Even when listening to complex music, such as live rock band performances, it is easy to differentiate individual sound profiles and instruments across a wide frequency spectrum. The earbuds maintain audio quality consistently across different volume levels. If you prefer heavy bass, the earbuds support Nothing’s “Ultra Bass Technology” that lifts the low frequency for enhanced bass effect.
The Nothing X app offers customisation options, allowing users to configure touch controls on both earbuds and switch between ANC modes: noise cancellation and transparency. The app also features equalisers with four presets available – Balanced, More Bass, More Treble, and Voice. Users can further fine-tune the equaliser to suit their personal preferences.
The earbuds have a stem design with a combination of glass-matt finish. The build quality is pretty good despite a plastic body. The default silicone buds did fit well into the ears and there was no sound leakage as well. The fit is so good that it helped cut ambience noise, which is nice. The Buds are also bundled with two extra silicone buds in different sizes to suit all kinds of users. The CMF Buds Pro are very comfortable to wear all day as they are lightweight and offer a snug fit. The earbuds even have an IP54 rating for dust and water resistance, though the case doesn’t have the same rating.
I was particularly impressed with the solid battery life that I got with the CMF Buds Pro, just like other Nothing earphones. I was able to use the wireless earphones for a week with the case, after charging it to 100 percent. I used the earbuds for 2 to 3 hours daily, which is pretty impressive for a budget range. The sound quality is good and the battery life is also solid. The design is compact and unique too. All-in-all, the Buds Pro could be a good companion accessory for your phone.

About CMF. CMF, a sub-brand of Nothing, is a London-based consumer technology brand that aims to make great design more accessible while delivering an uncompromised user experience through a focus on core product functionalities. As designers, it’s our responsibility to question the world. The objects that surround us and their true meaning. That includes technology. The very core of our everyday existence. But if tech is so important to us, why don’t we take more pride in how it looks? How it makes us feel? Let’s make great design accessible for all. By creating thoughtful devices that are both beautiful and functional. That can act as sources of joy and self-expression. To do that, we reject indifference. Carefully considering every detail. Colour. Material. Finish. To make the necessary, brilliant. The essential, wonderful.
