Meet SmallRig RF 10C LED Video Light BumbleBee Edition
In the world of visual storytelling, lighting isn’t just about illumination—it’s about emotion, texture, and narrative. SmallRig’s RF 10C Portable Focusable LED Video Light BumbleBee Edition perfectly embodies that philosophy. Designed in collaboration with Transformers, this special edition light celebrates the spirit of transformation and creativity, merging SmallRig’s engineering precision with the “More Than Meets the Eye” ethos. The result? A compact, focusable LED light that redefines what portable illumination can be for creators of every kind.
Just as Transformers evolve beyond their form, SmallRig continues to evolve the creative process. Their shared mission—“Break imaging boundaries, fuel free creativity”—translates into tools that empower imagination without constraint. This collaboration isn’t just a visual nod to BumbleBee’s iconic design; it’s a testament to SmallRig’s belief that creators are the true heroes. Whether shooting a cinematic short, livestreaming on-the-go, or capturing portraits in dynamic lighting, the RF 10C stands as a versatile ally in creative transformation.
Unboxing the RF 10C BumbleBee Edition immediately reveals SmallRig’s attention to detail. The packaging is sleek yet secure, ensuring that the product arrives pristine and ready for use. Inside, the RF 10C rests neatly alongside its thoughtful set of accessories—filters, mounting options, and charging gear—each crafted to meet professional standards. The aluminum alloy body gives the light a premium feel, while its sleek dark finish exudes both durability and sophistication. With a handle diameter of just 4.3 cm (1.7 in) and a total weight of only 422 g, it’s impressively compact and ergonomic. Whether you’re holding it for handheld use or mounting it on a tripod, the RF 10C feels balanced, solid, and travel-ready.
SmallRig has engineered the RF 10C with 4-color LED beads—sunset orange, blue, white, and red—allowing users to explore a full range of creative moods and atmospheres. Its high CRI (Ra ≥ 96) and TLCI (≥ 98) ratings guarantee faithful color reproduction, ensuring every frame looks true to life on camera. What sets the RF 10C apart is its focusable beam, adjustable from 10° to 60° using a smooth slide lens mechanism. This lets you transition from a concentrated spotlight for dramatic portraits to a wide, soft wash ideal for ambient fills or backlighting. Complementing this is a set of 21 color filters, enabling endless creative combinations—from cinematic hues to subtle color accents.
Portability means little without endurance, and the RF 10C delivers both. Its built-in 7,500mAh (27.75Wh) lithium battery supports USB-C fast charging and provides up to 3 hours of full-power output—a remarkable feat for its size. Whether you’re filming an outdoor interview, a wedding, or a night-time vlog, the RF 10C keeps the light steady and reliable without constant recharging interruptions. Smart usability touches also shine through: a rotating power button prevents accidental activation during transport, helping preserve battery life and ensuring the light is ready when you are.
With three 1/4″-20 threaded holes strategically placed on its body, the RF 10C adapts to a wide range of setups—tripods, camera cages, selfie sticks, light stands, or handheld rigs. This flexibility makes it an excellent companion for smartphone videographers, mirrorless camera users, or even drone operators seeking lightweight auxiliary lighting. Ideal for portrait photography, live streaming, event coverage, or studio backlighting, the RF 10C gives creators the power to craft scenes that feel cinematic, authentic, and emotionally resonant.
The SmallRig RF 10C Portable Focusable LED Video Light BumbleBee Edition is more than just another compact LED—it’s a creative catalyst. Merging precision engineering, versatile control, and long-lasting power, it exemplifies SmallRig’s ongoing mission to empower imagination without limits. For creators seeking a portable lighting solution that’s as bold as their vision, the RF 10C delivers outstanding value. It’s not only a tool—it’s a statement of purpose: to light your world, transform your craft, and prove that true creativity always shines brightest when innovation meets inspiration. More Than Light. It’s Creative Power in Your Hands.
