NVIDIA RTX Spark PCs Are Here: A New Chip, Built with MediaTek

NVIDIA RTX Spark PCs are here, and they’re built around a chip that MediaTek helped bring to life. RTX Spark combines NVIDIA’s Blackwell GPU architecture with a high-performance Grace CPU, custom built with MediaTek, giving Windows PCs the horsepower to run AI agents locally on the device.

That matters because an agent doesn’t wait for you to prompt it at every step. You give it a goal, and it works through the task on its own while you focus on something else. Ask it to track down a bug across a codebase, write the fix, and run the tests. Have it cut raw footage into a rough edit, with the b-roll placed and the audio cleaned up. Let it turn a pile of reference photos into a 3D scene you can open in your modeling app. Or point it at a stack of research and get back a sorted, summarized brief.

With RTX acceleration behind 3D, video, and AI apps, that work happens fast and stays on your machine. And when the day is done, the same hardware lets you play the latest games with immersive, lifelike graphics.

A Look at the RTX Spark Lineup
The first RTX Spark devices to hit the market will be ASUS ProArt P14 and P16, Dell XPS 16 Creator Edition, HP OmniBook Ultra 16, Lenovo Yoga 9n 2-in-1 (16″ NVIDIA), Microsoft Surface Laptop Ultra, and MSI Prestige N16 Flip AI+. Read more about these impressive new devices:

ASUS ProArt P14 pairs incredible AI performance with impressive creativity tools, including ASUS-exclusive StoryCube and MuseTree, in a thin and light design that’s easy to carry around.

Dell XPS 16 Creator Edition is built for heavy tasks, making it an ideal platform for creators, AI developers, and gamers.

HP OmniBook Ultra 16 lets you build and create more quickly with local AI, while handling heavy creative workloads, all without compromise.

Lenovo Yoga 9n 2-in-1 (16″ NVIDIA) brings the power of RTX Spark into a flexible 2-in-1 form factor so you can create, game, and run AI agents anywhere you go.

Microsoft’s Surface Laptop Ultra is the most powerful Surface laptop, built for sustained performance in a sleek form factor. Microsoft optimized Windows specifically for RTX Spark, giving users full access to the CUDA ecosystem and Windows AI stack.

MSI Prestige N16 Flip AI+ brings advanced AI to your workflows with a 2-in-1 design that pairs performance with style.

MediaTek’s Collaboration with NVIDIA
At the heart of RTX Spark is the NVIDIA GB10 Grace Blackwell Superchip, which features a 20-core Grace CPU. This chiplet was custom built with MediaTek, leveraging the company’s expertise in high-performance, System-on-Chip (SOC) design to help the platform deliver sustained performance while maintaining the efficiency needed for slim Windows laptops and compact desktop PCs.

Memory is equally important for AI workloads. MediaTek designed a proprietary memory controller for RTX Spark, supporting up to 128GB of unified memory through a coherent system fabric. This design enables the CPU and GPU to access a shared pool of memory, supporting large AI models, memory-intensive creator applications, and demanding games.

MediaTek integrated the CPU cluster, coherent fabric, and memory controller, along with key system functions such as USB and PCIe,—into a single chiplet (or dielet). This compact integration delivers a slim and light chassis for gamers, creators and developers to use their PC on the go.

Build, Create, and Game
RTX Spark is designed to run NVIDIA CUDA natively, making it easy for developers to use the models, tools, and workflows they need, without rewriting them. RTX Spark’s impressive processing power allows developers to prototype, fine-tune, and run AI models and agents locally. Local processing gives users greater control over sensitive information by allowing data to remain on the device. Developers also don’t have to worry about per-token inference costs with cloud services.

Creativity workflows just got a big upgrade with RTX Spark. Enjoy smoother video editing, real-time rendering, and faster editing thanks to the superchip’s FP4 Tensor Cores, Ray Tracing Cores, DLSS, and support for AV1 and 4:2:2 video formats.

Get more out of your favorite PC games with incredible graphics, lifelike lighting, and lightning-fast responsiveness. With ray tracing, NVIDIA DLSS, and Reflex, RTX Spark delivers stunning visuals and ultra-smooth gameplay.

What’s Ahead
RTX Spark is just the beginning of what’s possible when MediaTek’s expertise in high-performance and power-efficient computing, meets NVIDIA’s AI platform and graphics technologies. Together, these technologies are bringing powerful AI, gaming, and creative capabilities to a new generation of PCs, opening up new possibilities for what users can achieve with their devices.
