A New Chapter Begins: UMIDIGI A75s & A75 Pro Debut with NexOS

UMIDIGI is preparing to expand its A Series with two new smartphones, the UMIDIGI A75s and UMIDIGI A75 Pro. Designed around a cleaner visual identity, smoother everyday interaction and practical performance, the upcoming devices bring together slim 8.1mm bodies, 120Hz displays, MediaTek Helio G81 processors and 5000mAh batteries. More importantly, the A75s and A75 Pro will be among UMIDIGI’s new-generation smartphones to arrive with NexOS, based on Android 16. Developed by UMIDIGI, NexOS represents a new step in the brand’s software experience, bringing UMIDIGI’s own identity to the software side of its smartphones as well as the hardware.

Two Personalities, One New A-Series Direction
Rather than simply offering two configurations of the same device, UMIDIGI is giving the A75s and A75 Pro distinct personalities. The A75s combines everyday versatility with a refined, stylish design, making it a practical choice with a distinctive personal touch. The A75 Pro, meanwhile, takes a more refined approach with Space Black, Light Gold and Sunshine Orange, while stepping up several key specifications, including its camera and memory options. Both share the same streamlined design philosophy. At just 8.1mm thick, the phones keep a clean, lightweight visual profile despite carrying a large display and a 5000mAh battery. The rear design keeps things simple, with a vertically arranged camera area that gives the devices a recognizable appearance without making the back panel feel overly complicated.

120Hz Comes to the Center of the Experience
One of the key highlights shared by both models is the display. The A75s and A75 Pro feature a 6.75-inch HD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate, giving everyday interactions a noticeably smoother visual character. Scrolling through social feeds, switching between apps and navigating the interface can all benefit from the higher refresh rate. The display uses a waterdrop-style front camera design, helping preserve a large viewing area while keeping the overall look straightforward and familiar. With a resolution of 1600 × 720, the display is designed around everyday entertainment, communication and content consumption rather than unnecessary complexity.

MediaTek Helio G81 Powers Both Models
Underneath the new design, both smartphones are powered by the MediaTek Helio G81 octa-core processor. The chipset combines two Cortex-A75 performance cores running at up to 2.0GHz with six Cortex-A55 efficiency cores at up to 1.7GHz, creating a balance between responsiveness and power efficiency for typical daily tasks. For users moving between messaging, social apps, streaming, browsing and other everyday activities, the shared platform means that both A75 models are built around a similar core performance experience. The difference appears when it comes to memory. The A75s will be available with configurations including 4GB RAM + 64GB storage and 4GB RAM + 128GB storage, while the A75 Pro moves further with 4GB + 128GB and 6GB + 128GB options. That gives users a clearer choice between an accessible everyday model and a version better suited to heavier multitasking.

Practical Features for Everyday Use
Both the A75s and A75 Pro are designed around practical everyday needs, with a 5000mAh battery, side-mounted fingerprint sensor, AI Face Unlock and IP54 protection. The main difference comes from the camera system. The A75s features a 13MP rear camera and 5MP front camera, covering everyday photography, social sharing and video calls. The A75 Pro steps up to a 48MP main camera and 8MP front camera, offering higher resolution for photos, selfies and social content. The A75 Pro also adds NFC support, giving users extra convenience for compatible payments and other everyday services.

NexOS Makes Its Entrance
Hardware is one part of the story. Both the A75s and A75 Pro will run NexOS based on Android 16, UMIDIGI’s own operating-system experience developed around the Android platform. The introduction of NexOS gives UMIDIGI an opportunity to create a more recognizable software identity across future devices, connecting interface design and day-to-day interaction more closely with the company’s hardware. For the A75 series, this means the user experience is no longer defined only by specifications such as display refresh rate, processor or camera resolution. The software itself is becoming another part of the product identity.

Coming Soon
The UMIDIGI A75s and A75 Pro are coming soon, with additional information on availability, regional configurations and pricing to be announced closer to launch. With two distinct designs and specification levels built around the same new-generation A Series foundation, the A75s and A75 Pro offer an early look at where UMIDIGI is taking its mainstream smartphone lineup next. Stay tuned for more details on the UMIDIGI A75s, A75 Pro and NexOS.
