ACEBEAM W20 MAO Edition Is Now Live
ACEBEAM has officially launched the W20 MAO Edition, giving one of its most popular LEP tactical flashlights a striking new finish that is as durable as it is visually distinctive. The Early Bird campaign is now live, offering flashlight enthusiasts the opportunity to secure this special edition before the promotional pricing ends. Unlike conventional painted finishes, the Micro-Arc Oxidation (MAO) treatment creates a genuine ceramic surface that becomes part of the aluminum itself. The result is a stone-like texture that delivers exceptional scratch resistance, outstanding wear protection, and enhanced grip in demanding environments. This premium finish not only gives the W20 a refined tactical appearance but also significantly improves long-term durability for professional users and outdoor adventurers alike.
The W20 MAO Edition retains everything that made the original W20 stand out. Powered by advanced LEP (Laser Excited Phosphor) technology, it produces an impressive 600 lumens while reaching targets up to 1,100 meters away. Unlike many traditional LEP flashlights that generate an extremely narrow beam with virtually no peripheral illumination, the W20 combines its concentrated long-distance beam with a practical wide-angle spill. This hybrid optical design allows users to clearly identify distant objects while maintaining useful visibility of their immediate surroundings, making it equally suitable for tactical operations, search and rescue, hunting, patrol duties, and outdoor exploration.
At the heart of the flashlight is a highly refined optical system that combines a tiny 2 mm emitter with a precision-engineered reflector. The result is a beam profile that delivers outstanding reach without sacrificing close-range usability. Combined with an automotive-grade control chip and sapphire-based phosphor technology, the W20 maintains stable output while offering improved thermal durability for extended operation.
Operation is designed to be fast and intuitive. A magnetic control ring allows instant access to Low, Medium, and High brightness levels, while the tactical rear switch provides immediate momentary activation, constant-on functionality, and instant strobe when required. This dual-switch arrangement makes the flashlight equally comfortable for everyday outdoor use and professional tactical applications where rapid response is essential.
Power comes from the included USB-C rechargeable 16340 lithium-ion battery, while compatibility with standard CR123 batteries offers valuable flexibility when recharging is not possible. Whether used during extended field operations or emergency situations, the ability to quickly swap batteries adds another layer of reliability.
Durability has always been one of ACEBEAM’s strongest qualities, and the W20 MAO Edition continues that tradition. The flashlight is precision-machined from aerospace-grade AL6061-T6 aluminum, now protected by the advanced ceramic MAO surface treatment. It is fully IP68 waterproof, dustproof, and impact-resistant to 1.5 meters, making it capable of handling demanding outdoor conditions with confidence.
Adding even more value, the MAO Edition includes several exclusive accessories not found in the standard package. Buyers receive a new tactical lanyard together with a green filter, expanding the flashlight’s versatility for hunting, navigation, observation, and specialized tactical tasks.
The Early Bird promotion runs from July 27 at 10:00 PM EDT through July 31 at 2:00 AM EDT, making it the ideal opportunity to purchase this limited special edition before regular pricing returns.
For users looking for a premium LEP flashlight that combines exceptional long-range performance, practical everyday usability, and an incredibly durable ceramic finish, the ACEBEAM W20 MAO Edition stands out as one of the most compelling tactical lighting releases of the year.
