At its heart, AFUL Dawn-X is powered by an amazingly designed, carefully chosen, 14-driver quad-brid setup on each side. AFUL has equipped four different kinds of drivers here, including a dynamic driver, eight balanced armature drivers, four electrostatic drivers, and one bone conduction driver.

In the 3D Micro-Resonance Acoustic Path Technology, AFUL has designed Complex Acoustic chambers designed for each driver type, which helps the DAWN-X achieve a seamless, distortion-free driver integration. Unlike typical EST IEMs, where the implementation of EST drivers is done in the ultra-high frequency region above the 9kHz frequency point, AFUL DAWN-X implements Wideband Electrostatic Technology, where the EST drivers’ output is tuned to perform in a 5kHz range. It promises a natural, airy, rich, and effortless treble response with excellent extensions. A unique combination of six-way electronic and physical driver crossover, combined with RLC network frequency division correction, AFUL DAWN-X promises an ultra-smooth, resonance-free sound reproduction.
Lastly, the High-Damping air-pressure balancing system from the AFUL Performer8 is incorporated here on the DAWN-X. Every unit of the AFUL DAWN-X is designed with great precision. The shells are made up of high-quality, solid-stabilized wood; each unit carries a unique, organic grain pattern that makes no two shells identical to each other. We have a unique textured pattern on each unit. With an ergonomic shape, the pair promises a comfortable fit for long listening sessions. DAWN-X comes with a high-purity 6N single-crystal copper cable in an 8-strand Litz braided structure.
