AFUL Introduces Performer 8S Latest IEMs
AFUL is all prepared to revolutionize the mid-fi IEM segment with its latest launch, introducing the AFUL Performer 8S. As you might’ve guessed with the name scheme here, the Performer 8S, also known as P8S, is a successor to the highly acclaimed AFUL Performer 8. The “S” here not just mentions the second-generation, it’s a complete overhaul for the pair, right from a new design scheme to an all-new multi-driver quad-brid setup.
Moving ahead from the traditional DD+BA hybrid of the predecessor model, the new Performer 8S houses an innovative quad-brid setup featuring one dynamic driver, six balanced armature drivers, one adjustable passive radiator, and one micro-planar driver. Prepare yourself to be awestruck by the stunning “Echoes of Jupiter” inspired design of the AFUL Performer 8S.
AFUL has pushed the boundaries of engineering with the P8S. The pair houses an incredibly designed 9-driver quadbrid setup into surprisingly comfortable and lightweight ear shells. The pair houses 1 DD, 6 BA, 1 Micro Planar, and 1 innovative Passive Radiator driver setup on each side. AFUL has incorporated an advanced acoustic architecture to get the best out of this multi-driver arrangement.
First and foremost, the pair features their signature RLC Network crossover design combined with a brand new RESInators 3D-printed micro resonance chamber design. The pair features an independently designed 3D acoustic chamber with micro-resonators to ensure ultra-low distortion and complete coherence in the output signal.
The coolest feature of AFUL P8S is its innovative Dual-Mode bass tuning. Innovative because it is very different from regular tuning options, such as replaceable tuning nozzles or tuning switches. The P8S allows you to choose between Open and Closed modes with the help of a plug that helps you control the Passive Radiator. In Open mode, the bass is deeper, more elastic, and natural, while in Closed mode, the bass is tighter and punchier. Enjoy two different bass qualities with the AFUL Performer 8S.
When it comes to design, AFUL has upgraded the Performer series with an eye-catching, impressive design on the P8S. The pair has an artistic design inspired by the “Echoes of Jupiter”. The face plates are inspired by the swirling storms of Jupiter’s North Pole, giving each pair a classy, high-end look. The shells here are made up of high-quality medical-grade resin material.
The shape is ergonomic, and the pair is light in weight, ensuring a comfortable wearing experience for the users. AFUL also includes a high-purity 6-strand silver-plated copper cable with standard 0.78mm 2-pin connectors. The pair is available in 3.5mm and 4.4mm termination options; users can choose between them at the time of purchase.
AFUL Performer 8S is here to redefine the way you enjoy your music. Its innovative 9-driver setup delivers an immersive sound with unmatched clarity and a rich, natural tone. Grab the AFUL P8S today and dive deeper into your audiophile journey.
