The upcoming Beelink SER9 is set to be one of the first mini PCs with a Strix Point processor, featuring support for up to an AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX 370. AMD’s Strix Point processors are 15-54 watt chips with 4 high-performance Zen 5 CPU cores, up to 8 Zen 5C cores, and up to Radeon 890M graphics with 16 RDNA 3.5 GPU cores. They also incorporate a Ryzen AI NPU that delivers up to 55 TOPS of AI performance.
Compared with previous-gen AMD “Hawk Point” and “Phoenix” processors, the new chips should bring a significant boost in single-core CPU performance, a bigger boost in multi-core performance, and up to 30 percent better graphics. The NPU is also around 3 times as powerful as the version included in AMD’s previous-gen chips, if that’s a feature you care about.
