Is Android 8.1 Oreo available for NOMU phone?
Yes. NOMU brand-new S50 series are with Android 8.1 Oreo OS. They will be public soon this year. What’s new in Google’s Android 8.1 Oreo OS?
– 2x Faster. Android 8.1 features “twice as fast as the previous generation”. The lightning boot speed and data processing speed will amaze you.
– Picture-in-Picture. Do two things at once. Allow you to see two apps at once, it’s like having super power.
– App Shortcuts. Long press the app icon to pop up one or more shortcuts, each of which launches a specific action in your app, so that users can quickly start common or recommended tasks within the app.
– Battery Saver. Smarter battery management and easier operation
– New Oreo Easter Egg
– New Funny Emoji. Empress yourself in more ways than ever. Share the feels with a fully redesigned emoji set, including over 60 new emoji.
– Optimization of Notifications. Apps can now only make a notification alert sound once per second. This change doesn’t affect other aspects of notification behavior and notification messages still post as expected.
– Safer Browsing. Allows Apps to detect WebView attempts, which could point to malicious URLs, so as to avoid hidden security threat for the system.
– Adaptive Display Size. Front size and display size can be adjusted easily. Use this function in Setting.
– Transposable Icons in the Notifications Bar. The position of function icons in the Notifications Bar can be changed.
– Position Change of Power Button. “Power off” button and “Reset” button locate in thumb approachable area that eases the single hand operation.
