Astrotec Archimedes Brand New Planar Magnetic Driver IEMs
Astrotec has announced the launch of its latest pair of high-performance in-ear monitors, presenting the Astrotec Archimedes. Named after the famous Greek Mathematician, physicist, and astronomer, this is a beautifully crafted set with a unique combination of planar magnetic drivers with a nine-layered piezoelectric ceramic vibration plate. Archimedes adopts an ultra-thin nano-scale flat diaphragm combined with a powerful magnetic architecture featuring 14 high-flux magnets on both sides of the diaphragm. Astrotec has tuned the pair using a complex acoustic structure, promising a clean, crisp, and well-defined high-resolution sound response. Astrotec is an experienced brand in the HiFi audio industry. They have gained extensive experience in designing and producing high-fidelity in-ear monitors with excellent craftsmanship. The latest Archimedes packs an innovative new driver structure housing a 14.8mm large-sized planar magnetic driver unit. This full-frequency planar driver is combined with a nine-layered piezoelectric ceramic vibration plate that further enhances the mid-high frequency band and provides a great level of detail and improved air and resolution in the output signal. The planar driver adopts a nano-level, precisely etched ultra-thin diaphragm. With the help of this unique driver setup, Astrotec Archimedes produces a fast, responsive sound which complements different genres of music with its rich response.
Astrotec has equipped the Archimedes with a powerful magnetic setup as well. The planar magnetic driver has a symmetrical magnetic arrangement with 14 high-power magnets on both sides of the diaphragm. This results in a strong magnetic flux generation that results in better driving efficiency, faster transients, and punchier bass response. With professional engineering, Astrotec has crafted the ear shells for Archiemedes using a high-precision CNC machining process. The pair has an exquisite, textured finish with stainless steel material face covers. We have an exquisite brushed texture finish on the metallic face covers, which gives the pair an intricate, delicate look.
Through professional tuning adjustments, Astrotec has aimed to deliver a properly balanced three-frequency band with the Archimedes. It features a professionally crafted acoustic chamber that reproduces natural sound, especially focusing on delivering high-quality vocals with a strong lower-end presence and an accurate high-frequency band. It complements your music with its smooth, natural tonality and detailed sound presentation.
Astrotec Archimedes is an exquisite pair. With solid build quality to great comfort, and high-resolution sound response, the pair checks all these advanced features perfectly.
