ASUS Hosts Metaverse Zone at ABS2024, Unveils Token Airdrop Sign-up, Sparkle Prize Pool, and ROG SLASH20.
ASUS announced that it established a Metaverse Zone at the recent Asia Blockchain Summit 2024 (ABS2024), showcasing the latest roadmap and applications. The ASUS Metaverse Zone unveiled three exclusive features: a Sparkle prize pool, a preview of ROG SLASH206, and the first reveal of meTown characters. The highlight of the event was an exclusive announcement regarding an ASUS token airdrop. Additionally, Kent Chien, Corporate Vice President at ASUS, also known as the ‘Graphics Card Strategist’, personally shared the ASUS theme for the event, Taiwan, Save the World!, at the ABS2024 venue. ABS2024 took place at the Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center from August 6 to August 8. The event was hosted in vibrant Taiwan, recently described by NVIDIA® CEO Jensen Huang as one of the most important places in the world for the ongoing AI and computing revolution. ABS2024 attracted over 15,000 participants from 36 countries. In addition, more than 300 world-class leaders gathered in Taipei for ABS Blockchain Week. Notable attendees included Vitalik Buterin, the founder of Ethereum; Audrey Tang, Taiwan’s first Digital Minister; Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Hollywood star; and Abighya Anand, the world-renowned Vedic Astrologer.
Sparkle prize pool valued at up to US$1,500
During the ABS2024 event, ASUS promoted a Sparkle prize pool with a value of up to US$1,500. Sparkle is the points system built on the ASUS Metaverse Plaza, a digital asset marketplace. Users can collect Sparkle by trading on the ASUS Metaverse Plaza platform or by completing tasks. These points can unlock various identity rewards, and Sparkle Level 3 holders have the chance to receive future ASUS token airdrops.
How to earn Sparkle:
– Trading Rewards: Users earn Sparkle by trading digital assets on the ASUS Metaverse Plaza platform.
– Listing Bonuses: Digital asset holders are encouraged to list their digital assets; reaching certain price thresholds earns additional Sparkle.

ROG SLASH206 launching soon
Visitors to the ASUS Metaverse Zone were also treated to a preview of SLASH206. In response to technological advancements and the everchanging internet culture, SLASH206 marks the ASUS Metaverse and Republic of Gamers’ (ROG) first step into virtual experiences. SLASH206 creates a gamified world and Web3 community where gamers can unleash their creativity and explore the metaverse. Completing guided missions earns SLASH206 digital collectibles.
First reveal of meTown characters
In an exciting reveal, attendees saw the first MeTown characters. meTown is a world of shared benefits, combining AI and blockchain technology so players can freely navigate between virtual and real spaces. The introduction of the first characters sets the stage for meTown’s storyline, accompanied by the ROG and future ASUS token issuance plans, sparking limitless imagination about this space and its characters.
