ASUS announced the launch of the ExpertBook B9450 laptop, the latest ASUS ExpertBook for business professionals that provides unmatched performance, durability and design within an incredibly thin and light form factor weighing in at just 2.2 lb with a 0.59 inch thin profile.

With its unique Mgcote Slab Grey finish, the new ASUS ExpertBook B9450 has an understated but sleek aesthetic. Housed in a chassis milled from magnesium-lithium alloy, the B9450 is tougher yet more lightweight than previous magnesium-lithium alloy models, with a 0.59-inch thin profile and weighing in at a mere 2.2 lb. Other thoughtful design touches include the ErgoLift hinge for more comfortable typing sessions, a 180-degree hinge for easy collaboration, a quad-microphone array for videoconferencing, IR camera cover, and a light bar on the front of the laptop that activates when using built-in support for Microsoft Cortana and Amazon Alexa. The B9450’s sound system is also optimized by Harman Kardon, with optimally-positioned speakers that benefit from signal processing to make adaptive adjustments over time, improving clarity and filtering out noise.

The ASUS ExpertBook B9450 gets its powerful performance from an up to 10th Gen Core i7 Processor, up to 16GB of LPDDR3 memory, as many as two 2TB M.2 SSDs in PCIe 3.0 x4 slots, and Wi-Fi 6 networking. The B9450 is also certified by Intel’s Project Athena, an innovation program that establishes standards for consistent responsiveness away from wall power, a demanding baseline for battery life, the availability of comprehensive connectivity, and a drive for sleek form factors. When at a desk, the B9450 makes it easy to increase productivity via support for an external monitor through the full-sized HDMI port on the laptop’s left side. Two adjacent Thunderbolt 3 ports support display connectivity as well, along with fast-charging and external storage. Pairing a Trusted Platform Module 2.0 (TPM) security chip, a webcam shield, a Kensington lock slot and a built-in IR camera and single-touch fingerprint reader for safe biometric logins, the B9450 offers rock solid security to help users safeguard business data and maintain personal privacy.

Seamlessly integrate mobile with MyASUS software
The latest ASUS ExpertBook B9450 includes the latest version of the MyASUS software. The software now allows seamless integration with mobile devices, using the Link to MyASUS mobile app that’s scheduled for release in early 2020. New features include fast and easy wireless file and URL transfers for users who need to share files or web links seamlessly between their PC and mobile devices; Remote File Access for accessing data on mobile devices from a laptop, anytime and anywhere; and smooth multitasking using the screen mirroring and screen extender functions that give users an auxiliary display for cross-referencing and other uses.
