Beelink SEi13 AI Arrives with Dedicated 160 TOPS AI Power

The rapid growth of local artificial intelligence has exposed one of the biggest weaknesses of conventional PCs: running a large language model is one thing, but keeping the rest of the computer responsive while that model is working can be another matter entirely. Once a model no longer fits comfortably within the available accelerator memory and workloads begin competing for system resources, a powerful computer can suddenly feel surprisingly constrained. The new Beelink SEi13 AI takes a fundamentally different approach, combining a capable Intel Core i7 processor with dedicated AI hardware and, crucially, a completely separate pool of memory intended specifically for AI inference.

A Mini PC Built Around Dedicated Local AI
Rather than treating artificial intelligence as simply another workload for the main processor, Beelink has equipped the SEi13 AI with dedicated NPU computing hardware capable of delivering up to 160 TOPS of AI inference performance, accompanied by an impressive 24GB of dedicated AI memory. That distinction is important because the machine also carries 32GB of LPDDR5 system memory, meaning conventional applications and AI workloads do not have to fight over the same RAM pool.

This architecture addresses a familiar problem for anyone experimenting seriously with local LLMs. When an AI model exceeds the available accelerator memory and substantial portions of the workload spill over into CPU and system RAM, responsiveness can deteriorate rapidly. Beelink’s solution is to give AI inference its own resources, allowing the processor to remain available for operating-system duties and conventional applications while the dedicated AI subsystem tackles compatible models.

The result should make the SEi13 AI particularly interesting as an always-on local AI workstation. You could potentially have an AI model processing a document or executing an agent workflow while simultaneously browsing the web, streaming video, working with office applications or communicating with cloud services, rather than effectively surrendering the entire PC every time a demanding inference job begins.

Intel Core i7-13620H Still Provides Serious Everyday Performance
The dedicated AI subsystem does not mean Beelink has neglected conventional computing performance. At the heart of the SEi13 AI is the Intel Core i7-13620H, a 10-core, 16-thread processor with 24MB of Intel Smart Cache and a maximum Turbo frequency of 4.9GHz. Graphics are handled by Intel UHD Graphics with 64 execution units and frequencies reaching 1.50GHz.

This creates an interesting division of labor: the Core i7 remains responsible for the traditional PC experience, while dedicated hardware can concentrate on supported AI inference. For productivity, development, web applications, media consumption, programming and everyday multitasking, the i7-13620H remains a very capable H-series processor, and separating AI workloads from those resources is arguably one of the SEi13 AI’s most distinctive characteristics.

32GB for the Computer, Another 24GB for AI
The memory configuration deserves special attention because Beelink is effectively providing two distinct memory environments. The currently listed configuration includes 32GB LPDDR5 system memory plus 24GB dedicated AI memory, alongside a 1TB SSD, giving the machine substantial resources despite its compact dimensions. The dedicated inference memory is designed for loading AI models and associated inference data instead of consuming the memory required by the operating system and conventional applications.

That could be especially valuable for developers and enthusiasts who want to experiment with larger quantized language models, private document analysis, coding assistants, summarization, retrieval-augmented generation, autonomous agents and other local AI applications without turning their primary computer into little more than a dedicated inference box whenever a model is running.

Beelink also lists OpenClaw as pre-installed on the Ubuntu configuration, positioning the machine as something that can be brought into supported local AI workflows without requiring users to assemble the entire software environment from scratch.

More Than an AI Appliance
Outside AI, the SEi13 AI retains the flexibility expected from a premium modern mini PC. Storage is provided through an M.2 2280 PCIe 4.0 x4 interface supporting SSD capacities up to 4TB, while display connectivity includes HDMI, DisplayPort 1.4a and Thunderbolt 4, enabling triple-display configurations. Thunderbolt 4 provides bandwidth of up to 40Gbps and supports DisplayPort 1.4 and Power Delivery functionality.

Wireless connectivity comes through Wi-Fi 6 using Intel’s AX200 solution and Bluetooth 5.2, while the chassis measures only 135 × 135 × 44.7mm excluding the foot pads. In other words, Beelink has managed to package a Core i7 workstation and its unusual dedicated AI architecture into the sort of footprint that can disappear beneath a monitor or occupy very little space on a desk.

MSC 2.0 Cooling for Sustained Workloads
AI inference can be a prolonged workload rather than the short performance bursts associated with opening applications or loading web pages, making thermal management particularly important. Beelink therefore employs its MSC 2.0 thermal management system, combining a vapor chamber, silent fan and SSD heatsink, with cool air entering from underneath the chassis before heat is expelled through an optimized airflow path. The company says the design is intended to provide stable performance during extended workloads while maintaining relatively low operating noise.

The clean exterior shown in Beelink’s design also avoids covering the top and sides with conspicuous ventilation openings, giving the SEi13 AI the restrained appearance of a conventional premium mini PC rather than an experimental AI development machine.

A Very Different Kind of AI Mini PC
The Beelink SEi13 AI is therefore interesting not simply because the words “AI PC” appear in its name, but because Beelink has changed how the machine allocates resources to artificial intelligence. Instead of asking the Core i7 and its system memory to absorb every workload, the dedicated AI subsystem provides up to 160 TOPS together with its own 24GB inference memory, while the computer retains 32GB LPDDR5 exclusively for its conventional computing environment.

That separation could make the biggest practical difference for people who actually intend to run local models continuously rather than occasionally experimenting with an AI application. Developers could keep an assistant active while coding, content creators could process information locally while continuing their normal workflow, businesses could explore privacy-conscious on-device AI, and enthusiasts could build local agents or inference services without dedicating an entire desktop workstation to the task.

Beelink SEi13 AI Pre-Order Price
At the time of writing, Beelink’s official store lists the SEi13 AI with Intel Core i7-13620H, 32GB LPDDR5 system memory, 24GB dedicated AI memory and 1TB SSD at $1,699, reduced from $1,839, with the configuration marked as a pre-order and Ubuntu listed as the operating system. The product page also advertises free shipping, a 30-day risk-free trial and a three-year warranty. Pricing and availability can, of course, change after publication.

For users who have already experienced the frustration of watching an otherwise powerful PC become almost unusable while a local model consumes its resources, the Beelink SEi13 AI proposes an appealing alternative: let the PC remain a PC while dedicated hardware takes care of AI. It is a simple idea conceptually, but pairing up to 160 TOPS with 24GB of dedicated AI memory inside such a compact machine makes the SEi13 AI one of Beelink’s more intriguing attempts yet to redefine what a mini PC can do.
