Benchmarking Wi-Fi 7 on the Mediatek Dimensity 9200
In this video, we show how Wi-Fi 7 greatly increases the speed of transfers compared to Wi-Fi 6, enabling you to download large files faster than ever!
Available in devices this year, Wi-Fi 7 doubles the maximum addressable channel bandwidth to 320MHz to provide extreme speeds, while using an advanced 4096-QAM modulation to greatly improve the overall user experience. New Multi-Link Operation (MLO) technology enables the Wi-Fi connection to aggregate channel together to increase performance, while also alleviating link interruption in congested environment for time-demanding applications.
Wi-Fi 7 support is available on the new MediaTek Dimensity 9200, while Wi-Fi 7 access points, routers and Mesh networking home and office devices are due to launch in 2023. Get connected faster with a flagship 5G smartphone chip that puts next-gen speeds in your hands.
