The pair is crafted to ignite a sensation of emotion and music with its listeners through its lively tone and natural, organic timbre. The faceplates are nothing short of stunning. Binary describes the design as “A Panel Shaped by Rhythm and Freedom.”
Crafted from a high-quality 316L stainless steel alloy material, the faceplates feature an intricate engraving of flowing musical notes intertwined with vintage piano elements. It is an absolutely gorgeous visual representation of the audio it aims to reproduce. Beyond the striking looks, the shells maintain an ergonomic and comfortable design, ensuring that these visual masterpieces can be worn comfortably without fatigue during those long, late-night music listening sessions.
In only a short span of time, Binary has made its presence known among audiophiles with its hybrid IEM capabilities. We all love a robust driver configuration, and with the 1900, Binary is also bringing some serious configuration to the setup. The 1900 features a sophisticated 2DD + 4BA hybrid architecture.
This includes a 10mm dynamic driver with a 6mm passive radiator that are tasked with a deep, powerful lower-end response that will captivate its listeners with great energy. Two balanced armatures deliver a neutral, well-articulated midrange, promising crisp vocals and natural instrument timbre. With two high-performance balanced armatures in the treble section, the Binary 1900 reproduces a well-defined and extended treble response. Binary has an expertise in designing multi-driver crossovers. The 1900 features a 3-way precise crossover system that ensures each frequency segment is accurately reproduced with minimal distortion.
Binary 1900 is tuned to deliver a lively, engaging sound profile. If we check out the early impressions from CanJam Singapore, listeners noted its exceptionally-tuned balanced sound profile with an incredibly clean midrange response. The bass is dynamic and punchy, with excellent extensions in the sub-bass realm, we would like to thank the DD+PR combination here.
The midrange packs rich mids and open, detailed instruments, creating that engaging feel, and the treble section packs in that crisp high-resolution technicality infused with a fun, head-bobbing musicality. This versatile sound tuning is definitely going to attract both critical listeners and musical sound lovers.
Binary knows that a premium IEM needs a premium unboxing experience. The 1900 comes bundled with a beautifully crafted, high-purity OFC (Oxygen-Free Copper) braided cable, ensuring optimal signal transmission and a durable build. The cable utilizes the standard 0.78mm 2-pin interface, making future cable rolling a breeze.
