Chuwi Announces Third Generation CoreBook X with Intel Comet Lake Processors
Chuwi Announces Third Generation CoreBook X with Intel Comet Lake Processors and Thin and Light Design.
The CoreBook X has always been one of the most anticipated notebooks for the Chuwi brand, and this year is no exception. In the previous two upgrades, the CoreBook X didn’t have many modifications, but Chuwi brought a fundamental innovation to the notebook in March 2022. In maintaining the original advantages of the product, it has further achieved a light and thin upgrade.
Continue the 3:2 screen ratio, lightweight design
The third-generation CoreBook X uses a BOE 14-inch screen, which is the same screen as the Huawei MateBook 14, which is well-received in the market. It adopts an ultra-narrow bezel design, with a screen ratio of up to 85%, a resolution of 2160*1440, and a 100% sRGB color gamut. With the continuation of the 3:2 screen, the advantage in productivity is greatly increased. Compared with the 16:9 screen of the same size, the vertical display area has increased by 18%, and the efficiency in web browsing and office software use has been greatly increased. Thanks to the ultra-narrow bezel and full-size keyboard design, it is 10% smaller than the traditional 14-inch notebook, almost the size of a 13-inch notebook. In addition, the heavy glass panel of the previous generation has been removed, which reduced the weight of the whole machine by 150g, and the current weight is 1360g, which is more convenient to go out and carry for mobile office.
Upgrade Comet Lake processor, performance and balance
The processor is upgraded to Intel 10th generation Comet Lake i3-10110U with leading 14nm process, accelerated frequency of 4.1GHz, core frequency of 1GHz, 4MB L3, 15W thermal design power consumption. The GeekBench5 single-core score is 976, the multi-core score is 2000, and the comprehensive battery life is 8 hours, achieving a perfect balance between performance and power consumption. The fan has also been adjusted, the fin density has been increased by 17%, the heat dissipation efficiency has been greatly increased and the noise has been well controlled. It is equipped with 8GB memory and 512GB M.2 2280 SATA SSD with so-dimm slot, and users can upgrade the configuration according to their needs.
Intel AX201 WiFi6 wireless network
The wireless network is upgraded to the current mainstream WiFi6 protocol, which can support up to 2400Mbps, a speed increase of up to 3 times compared to its predecessor, and Bluetooth 5.1 protocol is greatly improved in terms of multi-device connectivity and transmission stability.
Chuwi CoreBook X will go on sale at the end of March at a price of $549. Interested users can subscribe to the mailbox in advance and get a $50 off coupon, and can be notified at the first time of the sale.
