Design & Display
The Chuwi Hi9 is constructed in an ultra thin metal body finished with black coating. With a dimension of 21.60 x 12.80 x 0.70 cm and weighing only 350 grams, this tablet PC is light and very portable. The design of the Hi9 is very simple, without any unnecessary designs in addition to the necessary buttons and ports. The front panel is a 8.4-inch display with a resolution of 2560 x 1600. This capacitive display supports up to 10-point multitouches and boasts impressive color and great viewing angles. Above the display, there is a 2.5D glass covered on it which ensures smooth touch and protect the display from damage.

Aiming at the gaming tablet PC market, Chuwi Hi9 is powered by the MediaTek MTK8173 quad-core chip at a frequency of 1.9 GHz and PowerVR GX6250 GPU. This specs setup allows a good balance of performance and consumption after tuning, letting the game or APP start, load, and run smoothly with fast speed. The Chuwi Hi9 supports dual WiFi 2.4GHz / 5GHz and meets 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac wireless internet. Besides, it supports Bluetooth v4.0. Cellular network is not available for this tablet PC. For connectivity, the Hi9 tablet has a 3.5mm jack for connecting the earphones and a micro USB port for charging and file transfer. As mentioned above, it also features a 128GB TF card slot for storage extension.
