Chuwi Launches World’s First Alder-N N100 Processor Laptop GemiBook XPro
On January 3, Intel Core i3-N series processors were officially released. Within half a month, the well-known computer brand Chuwi INNOVATION technology stated that it was the first to be equipped with the Intel Core i3-N100 processor. The interval time shows the “rising speed” that shocked the industry.
It is reported that the Chuwi GemiBook xPro laptop provides new N100 processors. This configuration is available, and the price is expected to be less than $300. It is equipped with 8GB DDR5 memory, 256GB M.2 solid-state hard disk, supports Wi-Fi6 and Bluetooth 5.2, which can meet the needs of office, online lessons, entertainment and other scenarios.
At present, Chuwi GemiBook xPro laptop is the only notebook in the world that equipped the Intel Core i3-N100 series processor.
The Intel Processor N100 is an entry-level mobile CPU for thin and light laptops from the Alder Lake-N series. It was announced in early 2023 and offers no performance cores and 4 of the 8 efficient cores (E-cores, Gracemont architecture). The chip does not support HyperThreading and clocks with 1 to 3.4 GHz. The performance of the E-cores should be similar to old Skylake cores (compare to the Core i7-6700HQ). All cores can use up to 6 MB L3-cache.
With the release of real-machine products, compared with the parameters, consumers are more concerned about the specific performance of this N100 processor. According to VideoCardz’s Geekbench 5 test video, Intel N100 processors have improved the a lot compared to the previous generation N5105 in terms of single-thread.The increase during multi-thread test is relatively not so large, and the two entry-level graphics card performance tests in 3DMark are very smooth.
In the specific usage scenario, the Chuwi GemiBook xPro laptop has a smooth performance in office, watching, brushing web pages, and Internet classes. The average number of frames for running the League of Legends is 56 FPS, and the maximum frame number is 82 FPS. In addition to being equipped with the new Intel Core N100 series processor, the Chuwi GemiBook xPro laptop is shipped with a 14.1-inch IPS screen with a resolution of 1920×1080, and it also has 180 ° opening and closing and other functions.
