HK1 RBOX X50 (S905X5M Amlogic )
We installed a new firmware on it.
but it won’t start.
I tried Flashing thrue SD Card, still no booting up.
I only get the boot logo for hours.
i tried flashing it again via usb port, but now windows says there is an unknow device.
and i can’t flash it anymore ( Amlogic tools 3.1.1 ) flash tool see no Device
Is there a other solution thrue RS232 – USB cable ?
It sounds like the firmware flash didn’t complete correctly and the box might now be soft-bricked. Since the device no longer connects via USB and stays stuck at the boot logo, here are a few things you can try:
Check USB Connection Mode
Use the original USB-A to USB-A cable and make sure you’re connecting to the correct USB port (usually the one labeled USB 2.0 or OTG).
Try holding the reset button (usually inside the AV port) while plugging in the power cable — this should force it into recovery/flash mode.
Reinstall Drivers
Remove any previous Amlogic drivers and reinstall the latest Amlogic USB Burning Tool drivers (sometimes Windows marks the device as “Unknown” after a failed flash).
Try on a different PC or laptop if possible.
SD Card “Bootcard” Method
If USB flashing still fails, recreate a bootable SD card using the Burn Card Maker tool with the correct Android 14 image.
Insert the SD card, hold reset, and power on — wait 3–5 minutes for it to automatically start flashing.
RS232 UART Recovery (last resort)
Yes, recovery via RS232–USB (UART serial cable) is possible if the board supports UART pads.
You’ll need a USB-to-TTL adapter (e.g., CP2102 or FT232) and software like Putty or UART terminal to connect to the board’s serial console.
Through UART, you can sometimes trigger a low-level reflash or identify if NAND/eMMC is corrupted.
However, this method requires soldering or connecting to the UART pins (usually labeled TX, RX, GND on the board).
