With the new Vulkan 2, DUNU completely revamps the pair from the ground up with a new driver setup, an advanced four-way crossover, a hybrid physical+electronic crossover design, and all-new exquisite aesthetics. From a six-driver hybrid setup on the OG Vulkan, DUNU has revamped the Vulkan 2 with a new eight-driver hybrid setup. The pair employs dual dynamic drivers and six high-performance balanced armature drivers arranged together using an advanced 4-way frequency crossover. DUNU has equipped two individual dynamic drivers, one 10mm and another 8mm combined with dual Knowles BA drivers for a rich midrange and four customized BA drivers for extended and accurate treble response. The two dynamic drivers have got independent acoustic chambers which are fully isolated from other drivers as well as from each other. The 10mm driver independently produces an extended sub-bass response while the 8mm driver independently handles the bass region. With a fully isolated chamber design, they produce a fuller, impactful bass response. DUNU has adjusted the tuning of the pair to be highly detailed, rich, and musical. It complements different genres such as Rock, Pop, Vocal-centric, etc.
DUNU has equipped the Vulkan 2 with a four-way frequency division technology. It is a hybrid crossover featuring four independent acoustic channels with precise electronic crossover. We have independent channels for sub-bass, bass, midrange, and treble. This hybrid crossover ensures smooth division of sound across the frequency band, resulting in a highly consistent and highly coherent sound reproduction. It has been designed to minimize distortion and allow each driver to perform to its fullest potential.

The pair is made up of high-quality aluminium alloy material using a high-precision CNC-machining process. It has a neat build with an eye-catching Champagne Gold colour. DUNU Vulkan 2 comes with a high-purity stock cable. It is a silver-plated monocrystalline copper cable designed in a Litz Braided structure. The cable offers smooth, refined sound signal transmission. It features DUNU’s patented Q-Lock interchangeable termination plug system with 3.5mm and 4.4mm plugs included in the package. The Vulkan 2 is available in both MMCX and 2-Pin 0.78mm connector options. You can choose between them at the time of purchase.
