The E1DA 9038S Gen 3 has been released at price USD 10 higher than the Gen 2. It will be officially available since May 25th.

E1DA 9038S Gen 3

E1DA 9038S Gen 3 Highlights
32/384 and native DSD256 support on Windows, mac OS, Android and Linux.
UAC2 hardware volume control. (bit perfect volume control through apps like UAPP etc … with no loss of SNR), 127 steps of volume control on PCM and DSD!!!
No more sound explosions (no sudden volume increase to max). The device will remember the volume level even on iOS.
Very stable USB connection. And a new better USB bridge. (The Best)
Greatly reduced EMI. (Electro magnetic interference). EMI immune to LTE.
New standby mode: reduced power consumption when music is stopped
Objective sound performance (SNR, THD+N,…) increased slightly .
1dB improvement in DR and SNR.
No switchable audio modes. (removed)
4 layer PCB instead of 2 layer -> better THD under load.
App will be released soon with feature to control the DAC and features like 2nd and 3rd harmonic compensation, 7 Nyquist Filters but no EQ.
New, black enclosure with laser-etched logos.

The performance of the DAC in this device is equal to Topping E30 and D50s!
This will probably destroy every other portable DAC on the market except for dongles and portable Bluetooth devices.
