No matter the D11 electric bike in 2020, or the Fiido X electric bicycle in 2021 that sparked huge discussion on Indiegogo. Fiido has always attached great importance to connecting with its users. After years of experience in the electric bicycle industry, Fiido expanded its tech sports products matrix this year and launching its very first devoted designed electric scooter.
Beast electric scooter as the first electric scooter of Fiido, the innovative combination of electric scooter and go-kart is undoubtedly his biggest highlights, it gives electric scooter more interpretation on riding mode. Different from the traditional single standing cycling mode, it extend the go-kart mode by sitting cycling . This is also a unique patented design.
As hardcore as his name beast, the 1300W dual high speed motors (F:500W, R:800W) provides enough power, to show us a theroid and powerful drive performance, especially on off-road climbing. Combined with dual hydraulic braking and dual suspension system, it can easily challenge any muddy steep off-road mountain, and yet could also provide a faster braking response for off-road riding.
Equipped with 1536Wh large battery, which is the top capacity configuration of the current mass production of electric scooter. The range can reach to 100km under the single drive mode. Like most of other Fiido product, the battery of Beast is designed as removable as well, easy to replace, charge and more using demand. Users can switch between single-drive and dual-drive mode according to their riding needs. If you want to save electricity, you can choose single-drive mode, also to enjoy a more comfortable outdoor cycling experience. If you want to feel the craziness of off-road riding, just switch to dual drive mode and enjoy the wild fun.
Fiido chose an 11 inch professional off-road run-flat tire for tire configuration this time, giving a stronger grip and stab-proof protection for riding. It’s obvious that the Beast electric scooter is more suitable for off-road riding. It’s also a testament to Beast’s design intention, to provide the reliable support for riders to courageously explore the greater unknown.
In terms of overall design, Beast continues the minimalist futuristic style of Fiido. The overall design is simple, clean and yet remains tough. Thanks to its aviation grade magnesium alloy body, the weight of the scooter is only 36.5kg. It is reported that there will be two color versions available for Beast.
Like the Fiido X of last year, Beast also equips the keyless security system, which allows the keypad to control the scooter instead of using the key, and no more worry about the risk of key loss in the process of off-road riding, which has sufficient security guarantee. Fiido hasn’t announced the max speed for the Beast yet, but based on the current spec we know so far, it’s not going to be slow for sure. But Fiido has yet to release the Beast’s speed spec, perhaps they are also considering the regional traffic laws, to strike a balance between high speed and legality. It is believed that Fiido will officially announce the specific speed before the official launch of crowdfunding. Even though some specs still need to be released, based on what is known so far, as the first electric scooter of Fiido, Beast is a very exciting product, both in terms of design and performance. According to Fiido, Beast will be available for pre-orders on Indiegogo in mid-March, and will also be released on Fiido’s website later. According to Fiido’s past two crowdfunding projects, the early bird price would be announced with a great discount. Let’s wait and see.
