FiiO EA13 Pure Tube Stereo Integrated Power Amplifier

At the heart of the EA13 is a carefully curated tube complement. The voltage and input stages are driven by dual vintage Sylvania NOS PCF80 tubes, while the heavy lifting is handled by a powerhouse quartet of premium JJ Electronic EL34 tubes. This setup outputs a robust 28 Watts per channel, giving the EA13 plenty of authority to drive both demanding bookshelf speakers and high-sensitivity floorstanders. The performance of Tube amplifiers is hugely dependent on the transformers being used. FiiO custom-engineered EI-core output transformers from laminated silicon steel specifically for the EA13. To ensure a dead-silent noise floor and expansive dynamic range, these transformers are meticulously potted with fine sand and epoxy resin in sealed enclosures, actively suppressing mechanical vibrations and moisture.

FiiO has paired this vintage soul with exacting modern precision. The EA13 features a flawless 40-step stepped attenuator built with matched precision resistors. This completely eliminates the scratchy wear and low-volume channel imbalance common in standard carbon potentiometers. Visually, the EA13 is an absolute centrepiece. The thick CNC-machined aluminium alloy chassis is anchored by striking mechanical analog VU meters with warm LED backlighting that dances dynamically to the music. The glowing tubes up top are securely recessed and shielded by a removable perforated metallic cover.

While it wholeheartedly embraces the rich, organic sound of vintage audio, the FiiO EA13 absolutely refuses to ignore the practical needs and diverse habits of the modern audiophile. To serve as the true central hub of your high-fidelity listening room, the rear panel is generously equipped with four dedicated analog stereo RCA inputs. This ample connectivity makes it perfectly suited for seamlessly integrating a wide array of source components, whether you are spinning vinyl on a turntable, playing discs on a classic CD player, or streaming high-resolution digital files through a modern DAC. On the output side, the amplifier features independent, dedicated taps for both 4-ohm and 8-ohm speaker loads, ensuring optimal electrical synergy and flawless power delivery to perfectly match the specific demands of your chosen loudspeakers.

When the hour grows late, and you need to switch from room-filling sound to a more personal experience, the front-panel 6.35mm single-ended headphone jack offers an intimate, luxuriously tube-warmed solo listening session. Finally, intelligent power management is seamlessly integrated via a 12V trigger port for synchronized stack power-on alongside your other gear, complemented by a smart 30-minute automatic standby function designed to meticulously preserve the lifespan of your precious vacuum tubes. Being their first stereo integrated pure Tube amplifier, the FiiO EA13 represents a thrilling new chapter for the brand.
