First UMIDIGI X Teaser Video Shows Its In-screen Fingerprint Sensor
As the tech giant Apple reportedly is also working on in-screen fingerprint sensor for future iPhone, it suggests that the in-screen fingerprint unlock is indeed a future trend. Unlike the expensive iPhone, the Chinese manufacturer UMIDIGI is bringing in-screen fingerprint sensor to its new value king UMIDIGI X at a much more affordable price tag. And UMIDIGI X will be launched soon on next Monday (5th August) along with the company’s latest true wireless earbuds called Upods.
Now UMIDIGI is sharing a video to show the evolution of lock and key, and indicates the in-screen fingerprint unlock is the future for smartphone. In the video, the company indicates it will make the future feature in-screen fingerprint unlock affordable for everyone with UMIDIGI X.
In case you’re a bit behind on previous leaks, the UMIDIGI X has already been confirmed to pack the latest optical in-display fingerprint sensor, and leaked renders also unveils the smartphone will sport an AI triple camera setup that will include a 48MP ultra clarity sensor and an ultra wide angle lens. It features a 6.35-inch AMOLED display with tiny waterdrop shape notch and it’s a slim design phone with 4150mAh big battery and 18W fast charge as well as multi-function NFC support.
On August 5th, not only UMIDIGI X, but UMIDIGI’s new true wireless earphones Upods will also go official. We expect more specs and price to be revealed in the coming days.
