GMKtec Invited to 2025 Intel PRC DISTI & CTE CEO Summit
From April 16–17, 2025, Intel’s high‑level CEO summit—“Aggregating Strength, Advancing Chip Innovation Together”—opened in grand style in Sanya. The event brought together key partners across Intel’s ecosystem to focus on the industry’s future development and strategy, and to dive deep into frontier topics such as AI technology innovation. As a long‑standing strategic partner of Intel, GMKtec was honored to be invited to participate and join fellow industry leaders in this landmark gathering.
GMKtec’s collaboration with Intel spans many years and has yielded impressive results. In the fields of mini PCs and edge computing, the two companies have already achieved several milestone joint projects. For example, in 2023 they co‑launched a mini PC powered by Intel’s 14th Gen Core/Ultra processors, which earned widespread market attention thanks to its outstanding performance and portability.
At this summit, GMKtec and Intel took their partnership to a new level, engaging in in‑depth discussions around future growth and AI technology breakthroughs. On the technical front, leveraging Intel’s cutting‑edge 18A process node, PowerVia backside power delivery, and Foveros 3D packaging technologies, the two companies announced plans for a next‑generation compute platform. These advancements will transcend the physical limitations of traditional chips, laying the groundwork for significant performance gains in future products to meet escalating computational demands.
In terms of innovative “core” product planning, a suite of AI‑driven solutions was unveiled. Among them is the Intel Ultra 9 285H “Arrow Lake” processor, featuring 16 cores and 24 threads—comprised of eight high‑performance P‑cores and sixteen energy‑efficient E‑cores. Its AI capabilities stand out with a peak INT8 throughput of 99 TOPS and an NPU peak of 13 TOPS, enabling efficient support for a wide array of AI applications and providing robust compute power for scenarios like smart manufacturing and medical image analysis.
Looking ahead, GMKtec’s partnership with Intel will continue to deepen and expand. As a GMKtec executive remarked at the summit, “The future of computing belongs to those bold enough to break boundaries. Our collaboration with Intel reflects our unwavering commitment to redefining the future of computation.” With a roadmap of joint initiatives underway, both companies are poised to deliver further innovations and jointly usher in a new era of silicon‑based computing revolution.
