Google Pixelbook 2 rumors: receives FCC Certification
Google has already confirmed that Pixelbook 2 is on the way. According to a new FCC file, the hardware of Google’s new laptop is largely complete.
Earlier in a statement, Google’s tablet Pixel Slate, instead of continuing to focus on Chrome OS hardware was expressed. The company will focus on the laptop Pixelbook 2, some new information has emerged. Obviously this information caused some confusion.
There are a few points to be mentioned about the new Pixelbook. First of all, the files come from Quanta, which also produced the original Pixelbook (Pixel smartphones produce Foxconn). The second is that the FCC tag has the same font used by Google on other Pixel devices.
There is one confusing point pointed out by 9to5Google and Android Police: the FCC ID. Here, the new product identification number appears as HFSG021A, but this identification is closer to Pixel smartphones. For example, the first Pixelbook’s ID number is HFSC0A and the Pixel 3A’s ID number is G020A. Of course, the FCC identification number is not very important for the consumer. Maybe Google has changed things.
Unfortunately, Google had progressed badly about the Pixel Slate. So if the company wants to re-offer Chrome OS as a premium laptop experience to its users, it won’t do its best in design and engineering.
