GULIGULI Gives Your Pet A Voice with their Pet Companion Robot
The bond between pets and their pet owners is a sacred one. For generations man and animal lived closely side by side, together on the land. In these days it was easy to hear your pet – you knew about your dog’s needs by what they could tell you throughout the day. We all know the images in the movies of the dog running into the house barking and telling the owner about a problem nearby. Or maybe we hear the whimper – god forbid – of a dog crying from a broken leg or something that they ate in the yard and had to spit up.
Nowadays most of us live a modern lifestyle where we are out of the house most of the day and even if we do get to spend those precious times in the house we are not intimately tied to our pets and talking to our pets as much as we should be.
This can have serious consequences, not just on our emotional well-being but the physical well-being of our little dogs and cats as well, their very health gets improved through communication.
Since we all know communication is a two-way street, it’s a good thing that GUILGULI came along. They’re an emerging brand in the pet technology space that is set out to bring about a sea change in how human beings interact with their pets. Their Pet Companion Robot, one of their flagship offerings offers pet owners unprecedented access to and communication options between the pet and pet owner relationship.
Let’s take a high-level look at some of these features and then we’ll talk more below about some of the implications and best uses for communication purposes.
GULIGULI Pet Companion Robot Full Features Rundown:
– Audio Channels: A two-way audio function via the app lets you speak with and listen for sounds from your pet as well. Picture it – you can talk to your pet from anywhere there is a phone signal or Wi-fi connection. (We’ll talk more about this feature down below.)
– Camera: The movable 1080P Full HD camera lets you view your pet from anywhere so you can be away from home and still able to connect with your little furry friends – it pans left, right, up and down – very superb functionality on this camera. It also features night vision so you can see your pets and around the room in the nighttime or in dark corners of your living space.
– Feeding: It has a treat dispenser – you can release snacks to your pets at any time, through 12 cartridges, so you have plenty of food to reward your dog or cat for good behavior.
– Overall Versatility: The GULIGULI Pet Robot is in actuality a complete remote entertainment system for your pet – as it functions as an all-in-one pet toy, remote pet monitor, and feeding system.
– Design: The robot is simply WONDERFUL LOOKING. We love the elegant, scientific white and black design. It’s like something right out of a Pixar movie.
– Build: The large, sturdy wheels in back combined with 360 degrees rotating wheel in front accomplishes a tripod like design that will easily get over any obstacles in your home – raised carpets, inclines, small items on the floor, etc.
– Controls: You access the robot from the GULIGULI phone app so you can be anywhere – at work or even away on vacation and check in on and play with your cat or dog. The app is also secure, available on Apple and Google devices, and allows you to interact with your pet in a variety of ways.
– Toys and Extras: It shoots out a red dot laser from the front of the camera so you can entertain your kitten for hours of exercise. You can also mount a feather attachment to the top or anywhere on the device.
Where GUILIGUILI Really Wins – Communication Controls
One thing that really jumped out us was the 2-way audio communication tool. We loved just opening up the app and then having the ability to check in with our pet right from the comfort of our own office. We could hardly keep ourselves from doing our best cat or dog voice and getting the attention of our little friend. Studies have shown that dogs in particular do recognize the voice of their owner so this touching base throughout the day is a great way to raise the health and well- being of your special friend.
Visual communication cannot be understated though as well. The powerful 1080 HD camera gave us another avenue of visual contact with our animal friends. We loved just checking in on our cat as he made his way around the house and the mobility of the device allowed us to follow him around with ease.
The other mode – physical or tactile communication becomes possible as well! We loved moving the device close to our dog in particular to peak his curiosity and then get him off his feet and get a bit of extra exercise throughout the day. For your little kitten friends, you can use the attachable feather toy on top of the device to get your cat up and moving. It’s like being able to play with them in person or give them a little attention and love but from afar. If you want an extra level of play and fun, try out the laser feature. We saw how energized our cat got jumping all around the space almost knocking things over in the apartment while on his little hunt.
Afterwards of course, we used the treat-dispenser to unleash some olfactory and gustatory communication – we sent out a message to our little friend, that they did good and that we love them, even though we are not there. And made it delicious at that!
So even though you might be miles away, GUILGULI gives you a plethora of options to stay in communication with your pet. And as well all know, through communication, anything and everything is possible.
