Gustard R30 High-End R2R DAC with True 1-Bit DSD Processing
Following the humongous success of the R26 desktop DAC, Gustard is back again with their latest flagship fully-discrete R-2R DAC with built-in advanced network bridge service, introducing the Gustard R30. High-end audio enthusiasts, serious audiophiles, and professionals are going to love the fully-discrete self-developed R-2R DAC array featured on the R30. It has a 27-bit special design combined with an FPGA-based advanced clock management system, ensuring a pure, natural sound quality while processing high-resolution PCM and DSD audio signals. It’s a DAC that supports true 1-bit Native DSD audio signal processing. We have multiple digital filters featured on the R30, including NOS(Non-Oversampling) mode for a truly transparent response. Gustard R30 is designed to completely upgrade your desktop’s experience with its next-level audio hardware.

At the heart of the Gustard R30 is a specially designed fully-discrete R2R ladder DAC module. It is specifically designed to deliver a pure, realistic, natural sound with high SNR, DNR, and ultra-low THD+N performance. Gustard has designed a 27-bit complementary conversion architecture that ensures smooth, lifelike sound response with a natural tonality. Gustard R30 has full support for true 1-bit native DSD audio signal processing. It supports DSD up to DSD1024 through the IIS input and up to DSD512 through USB connection. Gustard has designed the R30 with a comprehensive set of input options, including USB, Coaxial, Optical, Bluetooth, AES, IIS, LAN port for network streaming, etc. As for output, we have versatile connectivity with RCA and XLR analog outputs that allow for seamless integration into both consumer as well as professional-grade audio systems.
On the output side, Gustard R30 features a Class-A discrete output stage. It is precisely engineered for powerful and refined output across both RCA and XLR output options. The R30 has precise R2R relay-based volume control which allows it to function as a dedicated pre-amplifier. It can be directly connected to power amplifiers or active speakers.
The Gustard R340 features Gustard’s next-generation digital filter technology, which combines multi-order adaptive algorithms with intelligent optimisation for enhanced sound response. Users can choose between different filters for audio processing, which also includes NOS(non-oversampling) for tailored sonic adjustments. In order to further refine the timing accuracy, Gustard R30 is equipped with a proprietary FPGA-based clock management system that minimizes jitter and artifacts. It features an SC-Cut OCXO crystal oscillator paired with Gustard’s GCLK-02 module. It offers exceptional thermal stability with optimized high-resolution PCM and DSD signal processing. In collaboration with CelWare, Gustard has developed an in-house network bridge platform featured on the R30. It enables direct media streaming via Roon Bridge, Apple AirPlay, UPnP, HQPlayer NAA, and more. It also supports low-latency LAN playback and firmware upgrade features.
Designed for serious audiophiles and professionals, the Gustard R30 pushes through technical boundaries to bring a new benchmark in high-end DAC design. The DAC boasts outstanding looks with its refined industrial-grade design. It has touch-sensitive keys and a clear, intuitive display screen. It is crafted to take your music listening experience to the next level.
