Helio X20 Vernee Apollo shown in MediaTek 2016 conference, with Android 6.0
Mediatek displayed its newest Helio X20 chip MT6797 at its new release conference held at 2:00 pm March 16th in Nanshan District, Shenzhen, China.
The host showcased its capacity and marketing leading power in the high-end chip field. The Helio X20 (MT6797) has great performance and features based on user experience, which wins continuous applause from the attendees.
Helio X20 (MT6797)aims at high-end market, and it adopts so called Tri-Cluster technology. The X20 chipset contains 4 A53 processors of 1.4Ghz, 4 A53 processors of 2.0Ghz and 2 A72 processors of 2.5Ghz. Its theoretic frequency reaches as high as 2.5Ghz. In addition, its GPU adopts Mali-T880 high-performance processors of 850mhz as well. The conference emphasized not only its enhanced image quality, lowered power consumption and heat generation, it also underlined the great image processing performance of Imagiq technology.
On invitation of Mediatek, Vernee attended this conference with its coming flagship smartphoneApollo which carries Helio X20 chipset and another model Thor(MT6753). After the conference, Vernee had a long discussion with MediaTek host. Even though Vernee is a newly founded company, it got highly accepted by MediaTek leaders due to its powerful integrated production capacity and remarkable R&D capacity.
Vernee, with its first flagship cellphone Apollo, will embrace the biggest challenge and also the biggest opportunity of 2016.
