Hilidac has announced its latest portable DAC/AMP device, the Hilidac Atom 2. It is an MQA-supported portable device available in both Type-C and Lightning connector options. Atom 2 helps you rediscover your high-quality music with its advanced ES9281AC DAC chip supporting PCM decoding up to 32-Bit/768kHz and DSD up to DSD512 natively.

MQA(Master Quality Authenticated) is a new technology supported by the latest devices. It removes digital distortion and packs the audio streams into small files making them easy to stream. Only MQA certified devices support the full unfolding of these files. Atom 2 supports MQA files fully, the LED notification light on the device glows magenta to denote the MQA stream.

LED Active Bitrate Indicator
Hilidac Atom 2 features a multi-color LED light that glows in different colors as per the active file bitrate. It glows red for 44.1/48kHz, Blue for 88kHz-384kHz, Green for 705kHz-768kHz PCM bitrate, Yellow glows for DoP, White glows for DSD native, and Magenta for MQA.
