Honor 20 Pro could have a periscope camera like Huawei P30 Pro
Honor will introduce the Honor 20 series in May and the new top model for the spring, could be the Honor 20 Pro. The Honor View 20 isn’t that old yet, but the better version is already on its way. And it could have a decent camera on the level of the Huawei P30 Pro.
A few days ago we had a picture in our blog, which now talks about a fake. But there is probably still a quad camera, because since then several render images of the alleged Honor 20 Pro have appeared, which also show four cameras. But with one difference.
The new pictures also show something like the periscope camera of the Huawei P30 Pro (the “square” camera at the top). This could mean that Honor’s flagship already gets the zoom of the P30 Pro, which I hadn’t expected so soon.
The Sony IMX600 and not the Huawei SuperSpectrum should be used in the Honor 20 Pro for this, but with the right adjustment of the software it should deliver similarly good images. I also expect a wide-angle camera and the fourth “camera” is a ToF camera.
I found the blue version here, the white version here and the black version here. I would stay critical even after the third and current leak (the black version), because we don’t have really reliable sources yet. But I assume that either this or next week we will see the first press pictures and final details as a leak.
