Huawei P30 Pro was exposed to get a lower benchmark score than Mate 20 Pro
Huawei P30 Pro was exposed to get a lower benchmark score than Mate 20 Pro with the same Kirin 980 chip.
On March 26, Huawei will hold a new product launch event in Paris. It will release the Huawei P30 series smartphones, such as the Huawei P30 and the P30 Pro. Among them, like the Huawei P20 Pro, the Huawei P30 Pro might be positioned as a photographic flagship or become one of the most representative top Chinese flagship smartphones in the first half of this year.
With the approaching of the Huawei P30 series launch conference, the benchmark score of Huawei P30 Pro has been exposed in two platforms, Antutu and Geekbench. The model number of the Huawei P30 Pro is confirmed as VOG-L29.
On Geekbench, Huawei P30 Pro reaches the single score of 3289 and multi-core score of 9817, which is slightly lower than Snapdragon 855. Besides, it also reveals that the Huawei P30 Pro will be equipped with Android 9.0, Kirin 980, and 8GB storage, etc.
On Antutu, Huawei P30 Pro gets the running score of 286152, which is similar to that of Samsung S10 Exynos 9820 edition. In addition to the above specifications, we can also confirm that Huawei P30 Pro has built-in 256GB storage and FHD + level screen resolution.
Considering that Kirin 980 can reach 310,000 points on Huawei Mate 20 Pro, which is much higher than Huawei P30 Pro. Why? It might because the new Huawei P30 Pro hasn’t been well optimized or it didn’t turn on the performance mode when tested.
According to previous information, Huawei P30 provides 6+128GB storage, and P30 Pro provides 8+128GB, 8+256GB and 8+512GB storage specifications.
The official rendering of Huawei P30 Pro shows that the phone is similar to the previous exposure of the real image. It adopts arc glass body design and has vertical triple rear cameras in the upper left corner with F/1.6 and F/3.4 aperture. There is also a flashlight, a sensor on the side, and a hidden fourth camera possibly with a ToF 3D lens at the bottom.
Different from the previous exposed renders, this time, the Huawei P30 Pro is exposed to be added a square periscope lens, which indicates that the phone will probably support 10X non-destructive zoom technology.
In addition, the front design of Huawei P30 Pro is similar to ZTE AXON 10 Pro. Both of them adopt water drop notch screen. We can confirm that the Huawei P30 Pro will support under-screen fingerprint unlock, but whether it supports 3D structured light unlock remains to be discussed.
According to previous information, Huawei P30 Pro will adopt 6.5-inch screen and it will support 22.5W super fast charging, but the phone will cancel the 3.5mm headphone jack.
