iBasso DX180 Portable Hi-Res Audio Player With Quad CS43131 DACs
iBasso is a well-known brand among audiophiles. For the past many years, iBasso has innovatively designed high-quality products in several HiFi audio categories. iBasso has featured a quad-DAC setup on the DX180. The device houses four CS43131 high-resolution 32-bit DAC chips that provide exceptional high-resolution audio signal decoding characteristics. With a dedicated USB processor, the DX180 supports decoding for high-resolution 32-bit/768kHz PCM and native DSD512 audio signals. It adopts iBasso’s self-developed FPGA Master 2.0 architecture that enables true high-resolution audio signal processing on the device. The FPGA Master 2.0 architecture manages everything on the device. It controls the complete signal processing right from the data buffer stage to the headphone output stage. It supports FIR 2X signal processing that provides enhanced sound output with lower distortion.
iBasso DX180 features a high-power amp section. It houses dual headphone output ports including a 3.5mm single-ended output and a 4.4mm balanced output port. We have a maximum output power rating of up to 690mW per channel through the balanced port and up to 281mW per channel through the single-ended output port. iBasso has loaded open Android 13 OS on the DX180. It supports multiple media applications on the device. The DX180 features a Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 SoC chip with 4GB of RAM and 128GB internal memory. It has a 5.0” sharp 1080P display touch screen as well.
iBasso DX180 houses a large 3200mAH battery that provides a whooping 15.5 hours of battery life with a full charge. It supports PD3.0 and QC3.0 quick charging protocols, enabling full charge in just 84 minutes of charging. The iBasso DX180 is a compact, portable, handy music player that is capable of producing great sound with ample power output to drive most IEMs on the go.
