Over the years, Kinera has garnered respect in the HiFi audio industry with their beautiful hand-painted and professionally tuned in-ear monitors. This year in 2020, Kinera revamped their entire line-up with premium looks and re-adjusted sound profiles. Almost every premium in-ear monitor from their collection has got a 2.0 variant this year including the Nanna 2.0, Baldr 2.0, and so on. Today, Kinera has unveiled an update to their triple driver hybrid in-ear monitors, presenting you the all-new Kinera IDUN Golden or one can also call it Kinera IDUN 2.0.
Kinera IDUN has been a successful project from the brand released back in 2018. Kinera has revamped the pair with stunningly beautiful hand-painted designer ear cavities, modular adapter cable, and readjusted professional tuning. The pair still houses a triple driver hybrid setup consisting of Two Knowles BA Drivers and a custom-tuned dynamic driver.

Following the Norse Mythology, IDUN is the goddess of Youth. IDUN is unanimously loved by the Aesir gods, and her beauty is also one of the best among the Aesir gods. The goddess of fate, Norn, gave the youth apples from the tree of life to IDUN for safekeeping. It is the story behind the design and tuning inspiration for Kinera engineers for IDUN Golden.
Triple Driver Hybrid Configuration
Kinera IDUN Golden features a triple driver hybrid configuration featuring a classic combination of two Balanced Armatures and a Dynamic driver. The pair houses a custom-developed 7mm titanium-plated dome PU composite high-poly fiber suspension diaphragm dynamic driver unit. This dynamic driver is paired with Knowles RAF-32873 and custom BTC-30095 balanced armature drivers producing an unmatched acoustic performance for the users.
Three-Way Frequency Crossover with Dual Acoustic Tube Cavity Structure
For producing crisp high-resolution sound with low distortion, Kinera has arranged the drivers in a three-way frequency crossover with a dual acoustic tube design. The 7mm dynamic driver is tuned for a powerful lower end, the Knowles RAF-32873 BA driver produces rich midrange, and the custom BTC-30095 BA driver delivers a smooth yet energetic high-frequency response with the pair.
Exclusive Hand-Painted Shell Design
Kinera IDUN Golden features stunning looks with an exclusive hand-painted shell design. They have soothing, smooth white ear cavities with colorful face covers. The face covers have an illustration of a tree with fruit at the center depicting the Tree of Life and IDUN’s Blessing from the Norse Mythology. The shells are crafted using high-precision 3D printing technology for a well-finished end product.
High-Quality Cable With Modular Termination Plug System
Kinera IDUN Golden comes with their new 8-core OFC+Silver-Plated OFC cable. The cable has 25 strands of 0.05mm Silver-plated OFC wires and 25 strands of 0.06mm OFC wires with PVC outer insulation. It has 0.78mm 2-pin connectors for easy and firm connection with the earphones. The cable has a swappable termination plug system with 4.4mm balanced and 3.5mm single-ended termination plugs included in the package.

Kinera IDUN comes with a set of premium accessories included in the package. This includes several pairs of high-quality custom silicone ear tips, one pair of memory foam ear tips, a 3.5mm-6.35mm adapter, and a PU leather zipper earphone case for keeping the pair safe.
