MediaTek Dimensity 9300, 9200+ & 9200 receive Wi-Fi 7 certification
The MediaTek Dimensity 9300 and 9200/9200+ are in the first-wave smartphone chips to achieve Wi-Fi 7 certification from the WFA (Wi-Fi Alliance). The certification continues to show that the Dimensity series leads the industry, adding to its number of world first’s, and providing users with the most advanced connectivity technologies that comply with global wireless regulations.

The Wi-Fi 7 technology in the Dimensity 9300 and 9200 supports tri-band technology (2.4/5/6GHz) with simultaneous data transmission across bands. It can address up to 320MHz of channel bandwidth – twice the previous Wi-Fi 6/6E standard – which equates to achievable speeds up to 2.4X faster. Wi-Fi 7 also brings further generational advantages, such as MLO technology and Multi-User Resource Unit (MRU) functionality. When working together, they greatly reduce connection latency, make Mesh networking more effective, and avoid signal interference even in dense network environments. Exclusive MediaTek Xtra Range™ 2.0 technology improves the indoor coverage, which can reach up to 4.5 meters further, even through an interior wall, significantly improving in-home and office coverage and performance.
